George Zimmerman has been acquitted of all charges in the February 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla.

The jury of six women informed Judge Debra Nelson shortly before 10 p.m. local time Saturday that they had reached a verdict after deliberating for approximately 15 hours over two days.

Of course, anyone with a 1/2 of a brain knew the state had no case.

There was reasonable doubt, plain and simple.

Justice was done. There was no evidence of murder. Are you suggesting mob rule?

He went home after his trip to 7-11,came back out & confronted Zimmerman (Martin was the aggressor)If someone had me pinned to the ground, was bashing my head of the cement,& it looked like it was going to be me or him,I would use whatever weapon was available to save my life.

Why...Why...Why...?

As President: Obama, is BLACK? So people say.
But in real life he's white/black.

A man on trial: Zimmerman, is WHITE? So people say. But in real life he's white/Puerto Rican.

So why is this a racist thing?

Answer:
Because that's what blacks want.

I'm not pissed and justice has been done. Seems to me that the only ones pissed are you and your God....,Obama. If he interferes? He needs to be arrested and deported back to his Islamic Homeland.......Kenya.

Unfortunately they use the race card too much. There are other races who have suffered atrocities. They however have gotten on with their lives & became successful. They do not dwell on the past & blame others. There are no slaves or slave owners living, yet blacks refuse to move on. They have the same opportunities as anyone else.

My views exactly. I watched the trial and all I heard was Martin reportedly saying cracker this cracker that. but Zimmerman was the racist! Blacks have a problem not only with themselves but with the World for their laziness.

And that "mob" is the most racist in the country, according to Rasmussen.

Just remember how they rioted and burned LA in 1992.

You mean "young thug" died because he started a fight and tried to get Zimmerman's gun.

What about the young white couple that was brutally raped and murdered by four black thugs back in 2007 that was NEVER brought to the national spotlight by the media?

Where's your outrage over that.

There isn't a Democratic issue that you don't agree with, is there?

You are just a partisan, mindless, liberal hack, Kline.

Go back to daddy's basement.

Yes, I do remember those riots in Watts. Because nothing says "justice" like a free big-screen TV for my homies. LOL

There wasn't enough LEGAL proof in a court of law to convict Zimmerman. A jury must go by the law, not by what people believe from news accounts.

Personally I believe Zimmerman started the fight and when Martin got the upper hand, Zimmerman shot him. In some states, Zimmerman could have been convicted of manslaughter, but Florida has a very liberal 'stand your ground' law.

"Police Chief Sterling Owen IV said that there is no indication the crimes were racially motivated and that the murders and assault "appears to have been a random violent act."[48] "There is absolutely no proof of a hate crime," said John Gill, special counsel to Knox County District Atty. Randy Nichols. "We know from our investigation that the people charged in this case were friends with white people, socialized with white people, dated white people. So not only is there no evidence of any racial animus, there's evidence to the contrary."

so the police chief and the district attorney say it was not a hate crime.

"Judge Blackwood sentenced Coleman to 35 years in prison on February 1, 2013, minus credit for time already served. Coleman will be eligible for parole in early 2019.[42]
On May 17, 2013, the retrial of George Thomas ended in a verdict of guilty on all counts with a lesser charge on count 17. He was re-sentenced to life in prison by the jury, but this time with the possibility of parole after 51 years.[43]On June 4th 2013, George Thomas was given two life sentences (consecutive) for the murders and 25 years (multiple concurrent) for the rapes by Senior Judge Walter Kurtz.[44] With minimum sentence until parole eligibility and time served, Thomas will have to reach 147 years old before he gets a parole hearing."

That is the root of problem. "Stand your ground" and "castle" laws are allowing people to make rash and tragic decisions influence by racist motives and/or racist stereotypes. No person should have such powers.

Where did I say it was a hate crime? When there is black on white violence, it doesn't get reported...period.

I saw the press conference on CNN and the USA Today reporter referred to Martin as a child. At 6 feet and 17 years, he is hardly a "child," especially when he had Zimmerman on his back and was beating his head into the concrete. I believe Zimmerman is in the 5'7" range.

Oh, so you know for a fact that this was racially motivated? Did you see that in your crystal ball?

Zimmerman's neighborhood, like most neighborhoods in this area is riddled with crime and he was following someone who he didn't recognize as a neighbor. That's what a neighborhood watch is supposed to do. He was in constant contact with the 911 dispatcher during the incident until Martin punched him and knocked him to the ground and started bashing his head into the sidewalk. If Zimmerman didn't have a gun, he may have ended up with a cracked skull, brain damage, or could have been killed by Martin, who was half a foot taller and more fit that him.

Do you know how to even think for yourself? I really doubt it now.

Or...are you saying this just to incite an argument? Some of your more recent comments, namely wanting to visit North Korea, make me suspicious of your posts. If that's the case, then you are nothing but a troll...like that Jason character who posts nonsense on this site.
