Quakertown passed a teen curfew in June 2006.
Curfew was 11PM to 5AM Sunday night thru Thursday night and Midnight to 5AM Friday and Saturday night.
First offense was warning with fines from $25 to $300 for subsequent violations of the Ordanance.
Don't know if it is still in effect and/or being enforced.

This should be standard operating procedure in all towns, especially in the summer months when kids are off school...and very bored.

Yes if the parents are not responsible enough to have their kids in at a decent time. The curfew would serve the community well. What business do kids have lurking the streets after hrs. but trouble. If they are coming home from a job or friends ,I see no problem with them being out at any time.Saying that there should be bending of the rules in certain situations.

It's simple. Line 'em up against a wall with a M60 machine gun. And with a full 500 round belt of bullets say, "Say hello to my little friend!"
And just mow "em down into a fiery twisted mass of burning flesh.
That'll teach 'em not to fuck with us! No, I don't think Perkasie kids are nearly as rotten as Quakertown kids, but something gotta be done. I've heard stories of Quakertown and I've even seen several acts of violence happen in parks, inside the dreadful Bush House, and in the awful rooms in the McCoole's Red Lion Inn. There was even a killing back in 2006 at the Bush House where a man was beaten to death. It made all the papers.
Quakertown got some BAD elements in it that never went away, no it just got worse. The police do what they can but they got their hands full.

Now, people are saying Perkasie kids are BECOMING just as rotten as the Quakertown Quacks. I'd like to know what really happened to bring this on. Where elderly people assaulted? Were other kids attacked at night? Just what the hell really happened, and where, to bring this on in Perkasie.

Is something wrong Duchess? You're always much more articulate. Please tell us how they handle curfews in your country. Your insight would be enjoyable after all this nit-picking on Topix.

Haha... A selective curfew. Just don't mess with the hot 18-year-olds in the halter tops and mini-skirts.

Hey Johnny, how would they handle this at Rampart? I'll bet Dixie McCall looked good in a halter top back in the day.

Instead of harassing kids, they need to look into a place called the Coach's Corner Sports Auctions. Some guy named Lee runs the place. He sells forged autographed sports memorabilia as authentic. He gets his stuff from some guy named Derrick in South Philly. All fake. Lee passes it off as legit. Lee was being investigated some years ago. He was at another sports auction place. Someone would win a bid on an item. Lee would then call some of the losing bidders and tell them that even though they did not win the bid on that item, he had another one that he would sell them for their last bid price. Lee would pass off one of his south Philly fakes and pocket the dough. I can't believe this guy is still out there. If you won a bid and didn't get your money to him in two days, he would call up and threat to put you in a collection agency. What a weasel!
