By taking the names and doing the research, the govt, creates a De facto registry. Kudos for these Senators who voted with the American people!
My president was elected by dead people!

Certain gun buyers have been required to get a background check for years, yet there is no current national gun registry.

Yeah, right! SWo the Govt asks you to b eleive it can't lay it's hands on, or put together a gun buyers list within an hour? Is that what you're saying? Don't be Naive!
Next Issue!
The Congress has reported that an bipartisan immigration bill has been introduced Today, Anybody smell a deal? Your guns for my immigrants? So ya wanna apprender espaniol? Ya wanna lose your job to a guy who works for half of what you make? More traffic on the roads! Lower standard all around! More crime! MS 13, Sounds like paradise to me!
Don't put those phones down! Keep calling your congress critters!
Next issue!
Obama, being a dyed in the wool liberal, can't help believing that any climate changes are a product of those evil money grabbing capitalists. His methods to deal with this is to expand the govt and tax accordingly. Prepare for a expansion of the man made warming myth once this guns and immigration debates are over.
My president was elected by dead people!

The current law requires that applications be destroyed after they're approved. In this computer age, it would be almost impossible to hide a registry from hackers.

Background checks are a joke if they don't prosecute the criminals who fail them.

Do you think that NSA building south of Salt Lake City is there to keep the congressional record, and obama's memoirs?
