Not to mention the Warehouse outlet , selling TONS of out dated products. Where is the Dept. of Agriculture inspecting them. Always leaks in the ceilings !

There is also a place that sells Avon products. I'd rather buy them there rather than find an Avon sales rep. and wait for the order. Also, the woman is very kind and friendly.

The back "barn" is the worst. Do those people make a profit to be able to rent that many shops? A couple guy back there had 3 and 4 booths or whatever you call them. The dude with all crap piled up had 4.

So 4 x lets say $400 a month rent so they need to make $1600 a month just to cover expenses. I bet most of these people use money from working during the week at a job just to pay the rent. What is the point of that?

So does Swann's Pantry. Those dates are not expiration dates, but "best if used by" dates.

It's no different than bakeries selling day old bread.

And if they do, they just can't close shop and move elsewhere in town because there is a distance clause in their contracts. I think it's either 5 or 10 miles. You have to remember that not only is Woldow a molester, he's also a lawyer.

the distance clause, as you call it, it typical of many retail establishments. Nothing illegal or seedy about it. The vendors sign a contract when they apply for space. they know the rules when they sign on the dotted line.

Is this where the lawyer joke comes in? How can a convicted child molester be a member of the Barr? F'ed in the Head, I'm sayin.

It's probably more of a "non compete clause," and yes, it is standard, but some people on here are on the borderline between normal and the criminally insane...facts like this just make their comments more battier than the previous ones.

Will Richard Woldow renovate the Q-Mart when the 400 unit development on the Q-Mart property moves ahead? The project was approved by the Richland Supervisors several years ago. It has been held up by the sewer moratorium in Quakertown. The project will include the extension of Ronald Reagan Blvd. over the railroad tracks past Strayer School.

I agree. I personally don't have anything against Richard. It's the local supervisors/council members who disgust me for kissing his A$$. I suppose one must feel rather important sitting at the table in front of the taxpayers. You're right, Schloppy, when people die or a building gets burned down, they will plead ignorance.

That information was brought to light only a few years ago, so please don't take it out on the vendors, most of whom live in this community. Because of contractual obligations, they cannot relocate in Quakertown. Someone pointed out a distance clause, which is true. I believe it's 5 miles from the Qmart.

Our elected officials in Richland know he's a child molester, but they support him because of his past newspaper columns which benefited their elections. The same can be said for a few of the school board directors. They have taken campaign contributions from him, knowing what he is.

So, please direct your hate toward these people who only used Woldow for political gain, and not the vendors who are trying to make a living to feed their families.

I say thank God for these types of markets. Especially the flea market in the rear. I'm always picking up some little thing I need for a reasonable price. I go to flea markets all over NJ and Pa and they're like museums. I'm always finding something interesting that I've never seen before. Yes, I know a lot of it belongs in a dump, but it's great to be able to aquire a box of obsolete screws or who knows what, for a dollar or two. I have no bones to pick with the owner.
