They're putting in a new water main. It won't be open til mid Summer. Summer starts June 21, so I'm guessing sometime in Aug.

Wow, that's a long time to repair that short stretch of road. Did they say why ?

In the process of fixing the narrow bridge and widening the bridge access to accommodate traffic - they're providing Morning Star with new water and sewer demands, as well as Quakertown West Apartments.

Quakertown West isn't adding any more apartments, and how much addition water and sewer demands can a church expansion have?

As opposed to the accurate, unbiased information that TOPIX is chock full of.

I'm surprised the road's condition wasn't blamed on Orloff, Woldow, Hsu, Arnold, Staats, Treadwell, Guidos, Zowniriw, Woglom, Stu Woods, Ficco or any of the other township/boro "cronies" that conspire to make our life miserable.

And there it is. TOPIX never disappoints. Whew! I thought maybe things got more civilized for a moment. How silly of me.

Carry on.

Your post was judged accordingly...thanks for your contribution. My assessment of a majority of TOPIX posts stands.

So after it was closed all this time they could have at least paved the road before reopening it. It's like a dirt road with all the holes & bumps.

Sounds to me like they aren't done, and will probably dig it up again.
