The man that owns the trolley building is getting up in years, I heard he wanted to sell the building..guess it's so.
Hate to see that antique store go, she has tons of cool things & her family have been at that site for years. LOL not sure on the Buddist place...he might own that too.

The antique store is haunted. I and several others have seen the ghost. I don't know if it is attached to one of the antiques or the building but buyer beware.

AHS is right. It has a history of parnormal activity.
Ask the owner's daughter about it. She will tell you.

Well, I tried to help out Benners by having a cash crowd hit there awhile back.. think I was the only one who went & spent money.
I was made fun of on here because I tried to support a local business, it was only a matter of time.
Most of downtown & the upper section on Main St. have paranormal activity, our towns are to steeped in history not to have some left over energy.

Many of these old family businesses used to be able to be sold or passed down to the younger generation when the owner retired. In this economic climate and the financial and regulatory obstacles the govt puts small business owners through, it's not worth it anymore.

I just wonder if the old guy is gonna disclose all the problems with the trolley barn. It's really sad how he didn't keep up this historic building.

I guess the fact both owners are nearing retirement age doesn't have anything to do with it.

Of course it does, they can't sell their businesses and are too old to put up with the aggravation of being taxed and regulated to death by the state and federal govt. It's not worth it to keep their doors open into their 70s and 80s. I'm speaking generally, I don't know exactly what the story is with these local people, only others that I do know who have shuttered their doors and retired in disgust.
