Many people have already junked their old inefficient refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners. And already use energy efficient bulbs and have a energy efficient hot water heater.

Any other ideas PPL? How about not fleecing your customers in 2010.

This isn't rocket science people. Your parents and grandparents knew how to conserve, turn out the lights when you leave the room, turn two of your four televisions off, hang laundry outside, and,(gasp) maybe even turn the A/C off and try living with fresh air flowing through the windows. Also get your candles ready because when the libs cap and tax goes into effect no one will be able to afford electric!!(or gas or propane)

I think we all need to push for electric cooperatives, like they have in other states. When you pay for service, you become a share holder for your entire lifetime! You actually see the returns at the end of the year comeback to you!(in the form of a credit on your January bill!) I had this in VA & my electricity was a LOT cheaper & more importantly, we weren't being fleeced!
just a thought
