I live just off Mill Street less then two blocks away from the event. I have never owned a bike and didn't attend last year's inaugural even but the borough seemed to do a nice job with it and from what I heard people enjoyed it.

How else do you think half these guys can afford to buy $50K motorcycles?

I hear sirens and illegal motorcycles with illegal exhaust. Hopefully there is a correlation there.

I understand that motorcycles and the people who ride them are more socially acceptable than they used to be. Bike Night is not my idea of family fun. I solved that problem by not going last year and no plans to attend this year. Different strokes and all that.
I do question the boro hosting an event that has drawn several dozen outlaw bikers to the Eagle Hotel this afternoon. I can only assume they are headed to Bike Night. No doubt they just want to enjoy themselves like everyone else. But there's always the chance of someone being stupid enough to start trouble with them. If that happens they will take care of business, with families and kids around or not.

I think you're sugar coating this. I'm hoping its just a good event for officials to corral and eyeball all the illegal bikes in the area.

No problems so far. I was there and there were many cop riders there from many townships. I was also at the Eagle and the riders there were better then the regs.,and so was the money flow. That goes for Big Daddy's too.
People in this town need to stop complaining. This town is rock bottom. Anything is better then the norm. Norm being drug addicts, retards, and shitheads.

Actually people need to complain more. Its going downhill when the township hosts the element that partly ruins the quality of life in the area. I don't mind bikers just the noise pollution.

How do you know they're "illegal motorcycles with illegal exhaust"? Can you tell that just from the sounds you hear?

"The dealers ... making a killing" doesn't correlate into half the bikers being able to "afford to buy $50K motorcycles". You make no sense at all.

Damn right. And the attitude that its not illegal unless you can prove it isn't helping with the bad will toward the public and the obnoxious assault on peace and quiet. Its completely out of hand.

Just because someone does something illegal, doesn't make it legal if no one can prove it, just like speeding and not getting caught.

Anything to boost the towns economy is a plus. How else will this town improve? When a town improves we all make out. The halfway house get sold, the zombies that walk our streets move on, the elected officials improve above high school education.

Bikers are not the bad asses we watch on TV, they're normal hard working men and women. Some wear colors but only to show were they're from. I would rather have them here then most of our cops.

People complain about the noise, well I would rather have the noise when I walk down the street then having to walk by a halfwit loose all day long from one of these homes that are being paid to take care of the nutcases.

I made sense. I guessed that 50%(yes, I could be wrong) are drug dealers. I assumed the dealers have the income to buy expensive motorcycles.

The only venues that made money off Bike Night are the bars. And I suspect Quakertown's image takes a hit from this event.
