Any significance to 2013 being RC year 3366? 13, 33, and 66 are all symbolic numbers with the Rosicrucians, Freemasons, Templar Knights, etc.

Let's hear from some Rosicrucians. I'd like to know.

The Grand Fraternity of Rosae Crucis are well known around the world. I've been asked several times if I'm a Rosicrucian when people find out I'm from Quakertown.

I was asked the same thing once when I went to NE and someone asked where I was from. I thought it was pretty strange.

I guess you were never asked if you were a Quaker.

No, I was never asked if I was a Quaker, but the guy who asked me if I was a Rosicrucian seemed to be familiar with them.

Come on people! I wanted to learn something about this little known group and it's beliefs, yet all you do is try to tell each other how stupid they are.
What is the significance of the date 3366? How did they arrive at it? Where does it go from in terms of world events? Do they know what they're talking about? Why does this always happen, that these discussions always degenerate into a carnival of reciprocal verbal abuse?

I remember my mother telling me about inquiring into the Rosicrucians back in the late 60's, this was soon after my cousin died from injuries sustained in car wreck in Allentown, and that she was going to join to learn more, but chickened out at the last minute because they wanted very detailed information about her and her family at the time.

I had never really given it much thought over the years, even with the pyramids at the Clymer Clinic nearby, that was until this show was announced.

Saw it tonight, and I liked it. Should be a fun ride!

You were probably asked because of the links to the Clymer Clinic, which is known widely, along with their connections to the Rosicrutians.

The year 3366 is the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC's (not Clymer's organization is PA) date based on the reign of Akhnaton in ancient Egypt. These are two different organizations. I'm not sure the one you mention in PA celebrates the same date. AMORC's Grand Lodge for the English Speaking Jurisdiction of the Americas is in San Jose, CA. http://www.rosicrucian.org/home.html
