Huckabee did pretty well in politics. We now have a President who didn't have his resume and experience.

I certainly hope so.

Unlike the current president, Christie knows the meaning of the word, compromise.

The turnaround in New Jersey is a testament to that philosophy. When a politician, no matter the party, can put partisanship on the back burner and actually work for the people, then that's the one for me.

History is on the side of HRC. It's time for a woman.

Not if Benghazi takes her down. If it does, she's toast and you know it.

You want a woman? How about Condi Rice?

Besides, she's a partisan hack and political panderer. I think people have had it with pandering politicians.

You know that it would be an uphill battle for her if she was pitted against Christie.

Love Chris Christie! Would love to see him run but I am afraid he is not polished enough. He is a Jersey boy and I don't know if everyone in theU.S. understands or appreciates his sense of humor or blunt ways.

I voted for Hilary in the primary a few years back when I was younger, and registered as a Democrat.I am a moderate Republican now and I would never vote for her again. Benghazi is unaccepatable in my book. Although I do think she was told to take a hit for the POTUS.

So a popular Governor who runs for the highest office in the land and gets defeated in the primary is a political failure???? Huckabee had an enviable political career by any objective assessment.

Topic of discussion is about Christie. NOT Huckabee. As always, you throw in in 4 wheel retard and leave the pavement.

Your party threw the more qualified candidate HRC under the bus in favor of a black man.

If Chris Christie survives the GOP primaries - which is doubtful - HRC would still be the favorite.

I think the farther away you get from the coasts, the MORE people appreciate a straight-shooter. So I think he'd do well in the fly-over states as well as the traditional red states - also moderate Democrats. He might have some trouble with Tea Party Conservatives, but that would just be an issue in the primary.

Your opinion, nothing more. My opinion is that HRC is damaged goods after the Benghazi hearings. I don't think she'll even run if it turns out bad for her - and it's looking that way so far. The testimony from the eyewitnesses in her own State Dept. is pretty damning, and if not specifically blaming her or Obama, at least pointing to a cover-up. The mainstream media are on this now, so she will have some "s'plaining" to do.

There is no way Bob Vander Platts -- an influential social conservative -- will ever endorse Christie. And those are the conservatives you need to win the IA GOP Primary. The same goes for SC. Christie would probably play well in NH and NV, but that's about it among the early states. And you need that bounce or else the media will turn against you.

She'll only be the favorite if she survives the Benghazi hearings...

It's interesting to speculate, but too many unknowns ahead. You're also discounting the "bump" he can get with good debate performances. With enough momentum, everyone will get onboard. It's about winning back the WH and ideology will take a back seat.

not a question of failure.
i meant that Christie was not in competition in the amount of weight loss with huckabee.
you are reading way more than needed into my post.
Huckabee was praised for his massive weight loss.
my intent was that Christie should not be held to that standard.
if Christie wants to lose weight fine.
to me i do not care about his weight.
it is more important what his views are not his waist size.
