No, No, No! We're already losing the battle with drugs. That's all we need are drugs and alcohol. As it is, if they have a car they can go buy it but have it right here and it'll increase. Do any of you know an alcoholic? Only one drink right? Yea, uh huh. Why must we be a society of drug and alcohol encouragers. Gee whiz, do you have to have a drink to un-wind?

the only thing delta county get for all the alcohol bought by people from delta county is the trash from beer cartons, can and bottles being thrown out on the roads. plus more people driving while drinking adding to the chance that someone will be hurt or killed in an accident. the sale of alcohol in delta county stops no one from drinking. i can see only good from the sale of alcohol in delta county. vote yes

No way will I vote for this!! We do not need that kind of trash in our county. If anyone wants it bad enough let them burn expensive gas and go get it out of town. Cigarettes should be banned as well.

If the vote passed, I wonder just who would really benefit. I'm thinking about the wild loud parties, the drunks walking down the streets, the thefts so they can go out and buy more. How about the adult who will walk in and buy beer for the kids. Tell me it won't happen. More deputies, more abuse, more family violence, more people in our jails. I don't know, it doesn't sound like a win, win for a yes vote

What part of what you have said is not happening here already?
We need the income for the county. You have'nt stopped one person from driving drunk or stopped one kid from getting what ever they want here with your prohibitions. Your kids are the one's setting on the square at all hours of the night drinking and buying from joyce L the bootlegger/dope dealer. Lets see Commerce, Ladonia, Paris and soon to be Sulphur Springs sell alcohol so we really have so much influence on prohibiting anyone from using it. You just put our drunks out on the roads to kill my family while they go get it. Thanks for the protection."NOT"

It's people like you who are responsible for killing your family. Drunks will still be on the road. Haven't you heard that accidents happen within 5 miles of home. Why don't you start by teaching your family to drink responsibly? No, it won't stop illegal practices, but it can curb it. We don't need to sell it here in Delta County. We can rant and rave but the vote will speak loud and clear.

I don't think there is a ballot, unless Ben Snow and pal Mrs. Mariner are passing some out.
