Does it really matter? They are locked up that is what is important. Damn glad to live here and I am not ashamed of it. Like the article says. Drugs are a growing issue here in Delta. But as long as the communtiy does their part by informing the sheriff's office about any little suspicion that stands out to them then people will continue to pay the price for messing with dope. Its a community effort as well as a law enforcement effort and the sooner we as Delta Co residents start to work as one well oiled gear by keeping a watchfull eye then that gear shouldnt jam up. Keep up the good work Delta Co S O and adjacent agencies.

Actually, it does matter. I was curious as to whether or not the ones who got busted were small time dealers and users. Until the people responsible for bringing it in in the first place are "locked up," there won't be many changes to speak of. The people who profit from all of this drug activity are more than likely still making deals. And, by the way, there was no need to be snarky and patronizing when replying to my comment.

I don't frequent either of those places. I asked a simple question, and I can't help but wonder where all of your anger and hostility stem from. Using harsh language doesn't get your point across, either. I hope that whatever has you so up in arms dissipates, and you can find enough calm and peace within yourself to carry on a conversation without slurs and assumptions. Namaste.

It was a good start except for the Marijuana charges, Once you have all the information about marijuana and its uses you quickly realize it should in no way be classified as a dangerous substance. Small amounts are a Ticketable offence in Texas and county jail time should be reserved to offenders that pose a threat to themselves or the general public

I can't wait until the big boys are caught. The old local names. The ones that make all the money. Some of them own stores and businesses. Some are in their 60's or older and they all are from Delta County.
I can only hope that they all go down. They buy cows, land and houses to clean their dirty money.

Yea right, if this were true the names would be on the streets and that aint so. You this to be true, you're just trying to throw the deps in the wrong direction. You might be a fish in a little pond and you're getting scared laughing at you!
