New job created at Cooper I.S.D.

The school board has recently created a new position at CISD. It is a "work at home" job, which pays really well, and guess who the new position has been awarded too?

The superintendent's wife is the new employee.

All this while laying off an employee with 39 years experience to "cut back some."

Here we go again running down somebody just because they made a district decision. The school is never going to do the right thing for EVERYBODY. There are always going to be winners and losers. Guess Waller was just on the loser side this time. Lets be supportive!!!!!

It isn't about winners and loosers, looser. It's about ethics, and there is very little of that when it comes to school board decisions.

No, there are plenty of folks in Cooper with ethics and good common sense. The trouble is that some make it to positions of authority that have neither ethics or common sense.

I always said the scum rises to the top. Such is the case with the school board, the commissioner's court, the county judge, and sheriff's office.

You hit the nail on the head. That has always been the problem there. Unfortunately it's these people that have everyone believing that the plethora of thieves and dopeheads are the only scum there. All the time putting themselves on a pedestal to their peers every sunday.

This is such a shame! After 39...yes 39 years of service they are cutting her position!! You would think a lady that has served 39 years of her life to CISD would be given a better explanation than "cutting back due to too much administration." And if the school is CUTTING back then why are they creating a new stay at home job??? The school board really thought this one thru!
Just hope no one else in the family is needing a job!!

I think it was about time to get rid of Waller and Krutcher they both gave the school a bad image. horay for the school board. This is a very good move. Keep up the good work.
