just some suggestions , how about music later in the evening , like a street dance , get rid of the tiger show , no creature deserves to live like that in tiny cages , move the whole shebang back out to the park , too much trouble with traffic and parking and more shady cool spots to view the festivitys, ban the politicians unless you replace the tigers an put them in tiny cages .

It was more a political rally than festival. Poor tigers. Stupid arrogant Republicans everywhere. Harold Watkins was having fun being an ass to people early in the morning, though. He could get a job parking cars at the State Fair.

Pancake breakfast was disappointing. Anyone who cooks knows you DON'T mash the pancakes after they've been flipped!!!She kept telling everyone she was a builder....yep...she don't spend no time in the kitchen. The lines were so long you had to wait for pancakes. The sausage was burned. They were not prepared for the crowd. This is the first year I could say I was disappointed with the breakfast, but it was a very successful Chigger Fest.

This year was bigger. Had a lot more people out on the square on Friday night. A real good turnout for that.Saturday am was a bit crazy as vendors came in to set up. Might work better if they set out the barracades the night before,or real early at 4am. They were well organized, but the vendors werent paying attention. Had a lot of vendors this year. Would also like to have more bands and singers.A little more variety of music and have them play late on Sat. night. Some bands will play for free, just for the exposure. Maybe some that the under 50 crowd would like. Maybe get listed on the Texas Music Office events calendar.Good promo.

Why not have it at the core of engineers ampitheater? It has lots of parking, covered stage, and covered place for people to sit and watch the bands. Can have several bands set up on different stages at same time. Less chaos and saves time wasted changing them out. Plenty of tres, room to spread out vendors and have even more vendor spots. Seems like a waste of such a expensivly built facility.???

I met some nice people from out of town that come for chiggerfest. The vendors parked by the pawn shop Fri night. They were woke up 3 times by people trying to steal their generater off their trailer.By the same group of theives! Im glad it was bolted & welded on. I sure was embaressed. I thought being on the town square and parked in a lighted area would be safe. These local theives sure are getting bolder and dumber. The vendor had a gun and started to shoot them. My opinion- he should have. Then maybe we would stop some of the local thefts for a day or two.

Ironic that thier was a world class enterainer , Shaun Michales who owns the java joint 75 feet from the main stage . Nobody even approached him about playing , also thiers at least 2 bands in town that were also avaliable with music for the younger crowds , maybe next year they will have more , and better music , vendors are great but the draw has to be the enterainment .

Also bring in a carnival for the kids. If you have it at ampitheather vendors can come earlier & park rvs out on one end. They can come earlier & spend more $ eating at local resturants in town. If you make it big enough you could make it a all wknd event. Maybe have a rodeo at park on Friday night as well. A bike show & classic car show in town on the square.Maybe some bands at bike show too. Just some ideas to consider.

Not a good as last year. The Elvis guy was no good in my opinion. Not as many vendors and TOO MUCH JEWELRY.
