are you REALLY a DERR?

the derr's are strong republicans but they are hardly radical. hillary is radical. obama is radical. the derr's don't even come close.

I don't know about him being radical, but I wouldn't call him a Republican. Regardless of how he labels himself, I believe the Republican party would have some REAL problems with his behavior.

I am judging Derr by association and maybe that isn't fair. I see him with people that I believe I don't agree with due to their behavior. I wish I had more information, but I don't. I would be glad to change my opinion if I see something to convince me.

basing decisions on assumptions of association admitting MAYBE this isnt fair but willing to change your already decided opinion? What gives?

I should not have used the word RADICAL .. I only know the Derr's by who they run around with . SORRY about the strong word RADICAL .. This ONLY applies to the Derr's ....

NOW -The LONDON'S they are RADICAL and they have HURT the Rep Party in Delta County ..

I don't know of anyone in the Republican party that is radical. The Derr's and London's have been the foundation of the party in the county.

There are not 2 Republican parties in Delta county. There is one Republican party. There are two support groups - the Republican Men and the Republican Women. The support groups are just that, support for the party.

what is the difference between an implant to delta co. and someone from delta co.? how long would you have to live here to be considered a delta co. resident?

you may be a resident. but you are not form here.

well if being from (form as you spelled it) is the main thing you have to be anything around here, well I guess the way things are run kind of speaks for itself. Also, what is so bad about people from other parts of the area or state that move here? I see things on here or hear things from people who just can't stand people that move here....I don't understand what the people that grew up here and have that proud HS degree on their wall that says Cooper HS that makes them so much better than people who move to this town to call their home.
Would think if they were good people, you would be happy to increase the tax base and have new students and families in town

Iam glad to see new folks move in some of them move in and try to do good things for cooper but as soon as things get tough they give up and leave the things they started unfinished.

It is nice to see not everyone hate people who move here. my guess about why someone would give up and leave is people from here are always reminding you that no matter how long you live here you will always be an outsider, after a while that kind of grates on a person-might even make him want to move on down the road where they felt wanted. I like this place don't get me wrong, but if my big claim to fame was a hs degree that said cooper on it - not so sure I would look down my nose at other folks like they had 2 heads. And, I guess for the looks of things at the school if there are 25 applications for a job and 1 of them is from here the other 24 just get tossed in the trash - and you see how far that has got us be it school/sports whatever
