Coon Rapids police seek help locating couple involved in domest...

The Coon Rapids Police Department is asking for help in locating a man and woman who disappeared following a domestic disturbance Sunday night.

Why are all the rappers, thugs, gangstas and other riffraf seeping into Coon Rapids like a backed up sewer?

We're no where near Brookdale, and our last Zoobaz retail outlet closed in 1991.

I would think in this day of white oppression that white people would understand what the term "coon" rapids means. And how that term is offensive to all minorities, especially african-americans. I would encourage all citizens of the great city of Coon Rapids to ask for a name change, like "furry animal with a bandit eye mask rapids".

broken and was chasing three black boys running
with his stuff, never did catch them. cops said
its happening more and more every day in Coon Rapids.

A young black resident was honored by the citizens of Coon rapids and the city for pulling a child that slipped under the ice on a pond, In his underwear not wasting a second.

Coon Rapids is a great home, City and is blessed with fine and decent people that no doubt will keep the city on the centerline of civility by making criminals victimes of their own uncivil behavior, We don't all call 911 every time.

In this case it was black on black.

But yes Coon Rapids has deteriorated. I lived there from 1994 to 2006 and would not move back there now. There are pockets of areas that are more crime ridden then others. Such as the apartments near Ephiphany, there are known meth cookers in the buildings.

The city council had the same thought a few years ago and so they decided to have a state-wide contest to re-name the city of Coon Rapids to eliminate any racial animosity.

And the winner was .... Coon City.

Anyone that considers the name of our city COON RAPIDS as being racial is nothing more than an inherent racist their self.

We Have an East Coast progressive on our council that thought the name was an embarrasment to his sorry self. We all suggested he move back to Sarcoxie or where ever he came from, citizens told the racist to go lay down by his dish and that is where the little fella lays now.
Coon Rapids just turned 50 proudly so because most of the residents have lived here their whole life. This is a fine city with some very good residents except for the east coast invader Sidoti.
