Erectile dysfunction ads too hot for primetime?

There are 35 comments on the MSNBC story from Sep 27, 2010, titled Erectile dysfunction ads too hot for primetime?. In it, MSNBC reports that:

We've all seen the ads many times over: a guy with a certain glint in his eye as he looks at his foxy lady, the couple lounging in their beachfront bathtubs, the man preparing to loft a football through a tire swing - all waiting, and pharmaceutically ready, for the right moment to arise.

Thoise ads don't bother me at all. What REALLY bothers me is the constant Jamie Lee Curtis Activia ads. GAAAAKKKK !!!!

Why do I have to hear these commercials several times a nite ???!!!

THEY SHOULD BE BANNED !

I don't think they really need to advertise. If we guys need it, our doctors can get it for us. Ads don't do it for me. Yep...Jamie Lee has seen her days...like many have.

Yes ! that's it ! enzyte ! GREAT commercials. GREAT comical character. I remember when I woudl watch those commercialsa, I would always think tyo myself "How can they let this commercial on the air, because it's OBVIOUS that what they are claiming cannot be true."

Well, after taking in more than $ 400,000,000 from tis scam, they put the guy (not the actor in te tv commercials) in prison for 25 years.

How could anyone be stupid enogh to believe this stuff anyway ???

Viagra is too expensive, I know that much.

Funny ads though.

Frankly, I think commercials for all prescription drugs should be taken off the air. Maybe the cost would drop since the pharmaceutical companies wouldn't be spending multimillions on advertising. If you need a particular prescription, your doctor will advise you. Going to a doctor and telling them that you need a particular drug is ass backwards.

I TOTALLY agree. Patient knowledge is one thing, but this marketing push does make the drugs more expensive in the long run.

Those ads are pretty tame. Get rid of the Andy Griffith health care ad. Replace it with a medicine for dementia for old Andy.

Now they have ads for ambulance chasing law firms based clear across the country, in some cases, for when the meds royally mess you up. More 30 and 60 second segments of crap.

I have used http://goodgeneric.com for about 3 years and find their products to be reliable and speedily delivered. The Support team are very promt and helpful in solving any issues that arise, caused by my errors not the company's. I was a little sceptical initially about buying generic products rather than brand names. However, the Mens' Health products I have bought have been equally as efficatious as the brand names at a fraction of the cost.

I can recommend http://qgeneric.info . Had business with them for over a year and never had any major problems. They can be slow at sending the order, but it always get there, and their customer service is great, always someone to talk to if their is a issue. Will do business with them again.
