I would think again before letting my child play in this league. I didn't realize that TSSAA rules could be changed so many times in a season. Whatever happened to its all about the kids!!! Its amazing that a grown man treats innocent kids this way. If you have a problem with a parent or a coach keep it to yourself don't take it out on the kids. The Director should be ashamed of himself for acting and doing the things he is doing. This is suppose to be fun for the kids but instead you are hurting them!

We play in the league. Personally, we enjoy it. What we don't like is when coaches get too competitive and run up the score against another team. When there's no chance of changing the outcome of the game, then let the bench play. That's what it's all about, right? Teaching the kids to play, not beating another team by as many points as you can, especially the little kids. We like the way the league is run, haven't seen a problem with the director myself. What did he do?

We have played in it for the past 3yrs and we have enjoyed it as well. This year has been a little bit different to say the least. Rules changing at the beginning or during a game or when a team gets beat but for some reason it only affects one not all teams. How's that fair to the kids and yes it is about the kids.

Is there another league in this area that you would recommend?

By the way, PCYBL is not governed by TSSAA rules. Their rules are voted in by the board of PCYBL, not just the director. TSSAA rules apply to school sports, and not all schools in Putnam County are in TSSAA.

I'm happy with PCYBL. The only other options are AAU, which is a higher skill level, and church leagues, which is not very competitive.

So they can change the rules anytime they get ready?? That doesn't seem fair. Looks like the church league will be getting a few more players. Thanks for the info.

I play in it its a league like the NBA a competitive. league. That how real basketball is if your kid want to play .You can help him get better or go to another league.i like the competitive nba style game. The rule changes are not that bad.In our league you can pressure the whole game it makes it more fun and makes me better.I like the rule changes. So ask the players if they like it if they do let them play if they don't take it out on the league. been in it for 10 years. I know what has changed. (I been called the league best 3 point shooter the guy who can make the shot when we need it,and the guy who has the best attitude)

when you have teams so unevenly matched as they are this year you know it's time for the director to go.
Players need to evaluated better and evenly distributed. One team gets 4 guys that should be playing in next league and other teams get none? Fair? If they can't do that then they need to split the league again like they do in travel ball. It is absolutely ridiculous what is going on now.
How can 56 to 3 be teaching anything but poor sportsmanship. You just don't do that with little kids.
