Autopsies usually take 7 days or more to be completed, and the results are released in about 10.

The Cookeville Times website had an article about the poor guy.

"Investigators are continuing their analysis and have not yet established the exact cause or circumstances of death, which appears to be drowning." Source -- http://www.ucdailynews.com/news/local/9750257...

There were several other people both above and below the damn on Watson Road on the date the young man disappeared. Just wondering if anyone saw anything suspicious or out of the ordinary on that Wednesday. The only item mentioned in the paper was a backpack but there were also two other items with it when I left.

Sorry, that may have been on Tuesday afternoon instead of Wednesday afternoon. Noticed the items were still sitting up on the concrete slab when I left and wondered about them since no other vehicles were left but mine.

What other items did you see? They haven't told us of anything else that was there.

I'm sorry for not paying more attention now to what the other two articles were. I was fishing from a large rock that is in the water directly under the dam. When I turned to fish from the little pool that was directly under the concrete that the backpack was sitting on I noticed something small beside (left) the backpack and something directly in front of the backpack but only glanced at them so I can't tell you what they were except that they were small items. I'm really sorry now that I didn't pay more attention. I truly hope it was an accidental drowning but as someone else has already said, I can't imagine anyone getting in the water because of all the debris, broken glass, fish hooks, snakes, etc. Lots of people come and go but that can still be an isolated area.
