Obamacare Fallout: Hospitals Will See Massive Layoffs
Hospitals are expected to cut some 93,000 jobs in 2013 in anticipation of ObamaCare. A former presidential candidate and conservative advocate says America needs to prepare for major changes in the medical industry.
Orlando Health, a not-for-profit network of community and specialty hospitals, is just one example of the massive layoffs expected in the coming year. Officials with the Central Florida-based healthcare services provider announced on Monday that the largest staff reduction in its nearly 100-year history will result in cutting up to 400 jobs, starting immediately.
Gary Bauer, president of Washington DC-based American Values, warns that this is only the beginning of an economic catastrophe that will impact America for years.

"The ripple effects, the negatives on our economy, are going to be playing out for not just months, but for years," he says. "And I doubt we will ever be able to totally measure the complete cost in manpower and in money -- in addition to taxes --that ObamaCare will end up costing the American people, proving once again there is no such thing as a free lunch, and there is no such thing as free healthcare."
Bauer is sadly confident that the quality of healthcare, in a nation known for its excellence in medical services, will see a decline.
"I think that what the public still doesn't realize is that all the savings the president projected are literally savings that come from not paying hospitals, doctors and other care centers for services," he tells OneNewsNow. "And if you don't pay them, you're not going to get the services, unless somehow through courts or otherwise we can restrict the impact of ObamaCare."
Louisiana State University announced in October it would cut 1,495 positions and various programs across its seven hospitals to trim more than $150 million from its budget

Modern medicine in the USA will change for the foreseeable future unless Obama Care gets thrown out by SCOTUS (Supreme Court) on the new challenge that it is a tax an did not originate in the House of Reps, as required by law.

There are none so blind as those who will not see. You're not part of the problem, PP. You ARE the problem. But time will vindicate the righteous. How do I know? The book has been written, the last chapter has been read. We win, you lose. End of story.

A Democracy is where the majority rules the minority and a Republic is ruled by laws. The mainstream media brainwashed people and tell them that it is a democracy so that we think that the Majority rules as in Obama care. Actually the People who rule are the ELITE In the world. That is why Obama care is now shoved down our throats and it is a statute and not a law. Normal people hate Obama care because it is not about care it is a take over of everything. It is bringing in Sharia Law. Look up the word Dhimmitude. it is in the healthcare bill on page about 109 I think. I am not sure of the exact page.

This will surly hurt those trying to get into the nursing field. This administration has hurt job growth more then a lot of people comprehend,at this time.
I have said this before, and will say it again, we will see Obama’s true agenda as we move forward, and a number of his supporters are slowly but surely seeing the effects.

Obama and Sibelius are Ignorant
The attempt to push our society under an umbrella of rushed, ill-conceived mythic solutions is like trying to explain everything by an omniscient God. Affordable Health Care is a fascist or a communist collective idea that overrides the individual for the sake of the aggregate. Don’t forget that Hitler was a big advocate of National Health Care.
Robert Pear says in the New York Times (11-21) about benefits under the new health law,“Under the rules, insurers cannot deny coverage or charge higher premiums to people because they are sick or have been ill.”
Obviously, Affordable Health Care doesn’t understand the fundamental basis of insurance which is that people with pre-existing conditions are not allowed to buy policies when they get sick because they have not paid for them all along when they were well. I used to own Allied Programs Insurance Brokerage and the finances of covering pre-existing conditions just didn’t compute. In insurance school it was a basic that insuring pre-existing conditions was idiotic. Any student who suggested covering them was ignorant.
Obama, Sibelius and his minions don’t know enough to realize that covering pre-existing conditions is a return to welfare entitlements. It is stupid. They are overriding an insurance system that they know nothing about.
They boast about covering pre-existing conditions like dumb students in a class would brag about failing a test. While it might make a few people happy, the long term effects will be to ruin the insurance marketplace and to tax the people to death. It is Insurance 101 to recognize that covering pre-existing conditions is not feasible.
Some utopians suggest that insurers provide dental care. When I owned my insurance brokerage we stripped dental from our coverage because it was just too expensive. Throwing everything into the medical soup bowl will bankrupt the system. It is a result of luke warm thinking by inexperienced bureaucrats. When it comes to insurance, Obama knows nothing about nothing which makes him something of a danger.
In 2008 Obama said he would lower annual premiums by $2500 per family by the end of his first term. Instead they are going up. The nanny state is on steroids and giving away any chance of a fiscally sound future. Obama, a community organizer, is bankrupting the community. The village is an idiot to listen to his inexperienced ideology.

Good. Too many lazy asses sitting around doing nothing in the hospitals anyways. Hell most spend more money on looks and decor than care. Bout time these hospitals get put in their place for over spending on nonsense.
