I have seen so many post on here about everyone bashing and trying to get Rave on (bath salts) & Molly (plant food) removed from stores & even the whole state of tennessee!! But I have a few concerns that really bug me.
Why is everyone trying to get these illegalized for? Because there is idiots out there that do to much and get scared & go to the er? For being "paranoid" , "scared of themselves" , high blood pressure & "fast heart rate"? Noone has scientifically proven to die from either one of these!
I could go right now to the doctor and get prescription diet pills that will do the same thing! Or a script for "quit smoking" aids like Chantix- this stuff even increases the chance of suicidal thoughts & actions! But noooooooo its fine to leave in on the market!
Why dont you press trying to get something off the streets that have ACTUALLY been researched to cause cancer, dieases & threats to our healt like umm... Cigarettes! So many more people have died & killed themselves from withdrawls from these little sticks you buy at gas stations & elsewhere when your 18 legally! Minors also get their hands on these most of the time from their own damn parents!
Also I have personally done both of these and have the mind control to handle these and I personally like the fact I can have fun and party with something legal. Even when this is illegalized its not going to stop people from using it or buying it! Just like weed, lsd, cocaine, meth, and everything else!
Leave rave on and bath salts alone & LEGAL!
Does anyone else agree?!!!

It's not just the "idiots out there that do to much" who end up in the ER. There are cases of people ending up dead either from the effects of the drug itself or through drug-induced suicide after snorting those bath salts just one time and in moderate amounts. Outside of allergic reactions and chronic abuse, how many people do you know of who have died after smoking a cigarette, drinking a beer, or hitting a roach?

You will have to go to the hospital, rehab, or jail to find anyone to agree with you on this.

I'm so glad you "have the mind control to handle these". What most people are trying to get through to those of you (using this stuff and saying it doesn't cause harm) is that it doesn't react the same on everyone. I could care less if you want to put that stuff in your system just don't get on here telling the world it's safe! You can't guarantee that it won't cause harm to anyone! Why is it marked "not for human consumption"?

There has been 1 verified death, and that was due to the person being

A. nearly 50 with a heart issue.
B. he was INJECTING it into his thighs
C. he was doing 6 GRAMS a day.

Thats roughly 8 pills a day. I recommend INGESTING no more than 2 pills per session, 3 at most, and that is after you do only 1 pill to start.

How many people do I know that have died from Drinking, or smoking cigarettes? Hmm off hand I know 15. So are you saying people are able to CONTROL themselves and not drink too much, and not smoke too much. HAHAHAHA Have you been to a Bar on any weekend for more than a few hours? Why do you think they have security at most big bars, why do you think they have dui check points? Why do you think people have lung and throat cancer in the hundreds of thousands every year?

What you are saying is that its "OK" for what is already going on, but NO WAY will we allow responsible adults have anything other than Alcohol and Cigarettes... NO WAY. Idiots

One verified death?? but how many have suffered brain damage and/or other lifelong effects?? provide those numbers, will ya? It doesn't matter how many have died from cigarettes, alcohol, etc., that has nothing to do with this. be smart and realize that you are crazy to take this unregulated drug called plant food/bath salts/whatever it is called.

Hey Ridiculous, you keep going on about cigarettes can you answer a question for me? Why is that people that have died of lung cancer that never smoked the first cigarette? It not always people that smoke that have cancer.

Just because you haven't had any problems from Molly's, you have no way of knowing what this stuff is going to do to someone else so why keep saying it's safe. Ever heard the phrase "the silent killer"? That's blood pressure and if a person doesn't know they have a problem and take your wonderful stuff what's going to happen to them? As I've said before I could care less what you do to yourself! Sure would be nice if you'd quit telling others that it's safe.

I don't think anyone is trying to imply it is safe for use by anyone and everyone. You can't even say it is safe for everyone to eat cupcakes. you give a cupcake to a diabetic and they will go into shock.

People are simply trying to say that if provided with a comprehensive list of possible risks and side effects, we should have the choice to put in our own bodies whatever we want.

If I wanted to drink draino I can, not smart, but its my body and my choice. Just because I can make that choice and it could kill me doesn't mean the government should make it illegal.

Making these types of products illegal without any real evidence to any consistent prolonged health risks is ridiculous. The government should not be able to tell us what we can and cannot do to ourselves.

Regulating what we are allowed to do under the influence of these chemicals, e.g. driving, operating machinery, fine as that affects other people. but if i want to eat plant food in the comfort of my own home, who are they to say I shouldn't have that option.

Same argument for marijuana, LSD, alcohol, tobacco, peyeote, mescaline, opium and a number of other chemicals known to cause a change in mental state.

If I am only hurting myself, how am I breaking any laws. I am guaranteed the right to the pursuit of happiness, and if this makes me happy, are they not infringing upon my rights?

I am in no way advocating or admonishing the use of any of the aforementioned substances, I am merely trying to make the point that it should be our choice, not theirs, what I put in my body.

As an adult, I expect our democracy to trust me to make whatever choices are right for me in my life and situation in the interest of "will of the people". I never saw a public vote for the outlaw of K2 in the same way we will not get to vote on this.

Even if we did, the people who have not researched it regardless of personal interest into the topic, would vote with ignorant bias against anything that alters the mental state.

If its not in the interest of medical advancement on a corporate level, it must be wrong. That is the majority american standpoint. If it doesn't support the principals of a capitalistic society, then it will be deemed bad for society as a whole and kept out of the hands of the public for no better reason than the greater capitalist group has no interest in its application.

Welcome to America.

In that case I guess you are against Stamina RX the generic viagra they sell in gas stations, gnc, etc then? Since I guarantee it extremely raises your blood pressure. Its sold and no ID is required, and can kill someone with a high blood pressure problem as well then.

See the thing is I don't personally care who fries their brain with whatever chemical nightmare they choose to ingest BUT since druggies tend to be non working non contributing welfare rats who do you think pays their medical bills when they OD and veg themselves out? I do,as a taxpayer.

The first thing these pseudo-defiant government haters do when they scramble their brains is demand the government pick up their medical bills.

So take whatever crap you want but don't come crawling to the taxpayers to pay for your nursing home bed and diapers and Ensure for the next 40 years.
