Is there any groups here in Cookeville where senior citizens can get together and socialize? Where they can learn crafts or something to give them interaction with other individuals?

Senior citizens center on Walnut.

Thank you for the info. Do you know if it cost anything to go there?

Do you know the kinds of activities they have and the ages of people that go there? Is there a lot of people around their early to mid 60? I keep trying to see if they have a website but I'm not having any luck.

Besides my daughter living in Cookeville, why would I move there? I am 66 single and reasonably healthy. What is the best thing about Cookeville? I am very conservative in my politics, is it a hot bed for liberals? How do folks there feel about guns, Pres. Obama, and local leaders? What about jobs? I only want 2 or 3 days per week, and have a health care/retail background. How many tornados per year, are they bad. In other words tell me about your town. Thanks
