My wife and I are partial to Cosmo's Bar and Grill. Great food, great prices, and friendly atmosphere. We used to work there and now that they have liquor, it is the only place we go to have a few drinks and great food with friends. Just our two cents.
that place sux

Cosmo's sucks. If they deem you as too loud or they think you have had too many drinks, they call the law on you. It is rumored that they have workers fill out 'incident reports' whenever they see something 'suspicious' go down, or they are supposedly subject to lose their jobs. Sounds a little like paranoia if you ask me.

My question is: Is the rumor I heard true about the workers having to fill out these incident reports as if they were rent-a-cops?

you must be from the "I judge the book by it's cover" crowd. Stay at Jets or Forbidden, you could'nt hang at the Dinner Bell anyway. We'd wind up monkey-stomping you in the parking lot because you can't maintain. Newsflash homie, the Dinner Bell was here when the Coral was here, when Cotten-Eyed Joe's was here, when Raven's was here, and it'll be here long after Jets and Forbidden and Bilmar's are gone, just like they've outlasted everybody else.
Dinner Bell was here long before the Coral Club was even thought of let alone the rest of them you named.

What happened to Slick Willy's ? We went there and it was closed. Was told it got busted for all sorts of illegal things. Brent Webb was one of the owners and after he got Busted he had to close it. He was selling liquor without a liquor license to under age girls and having after hours party's.
He must be an idiot to through away everything for pu##y. Where is a good karaoke bar in Cookeville ?
Boondocks off I-40 exit 276 in Silverpoint they have great music have karaoke on Friday and Saturday and lots of fun you should check them out

Yeah Boondock's is great, better make sure you go in a group if your female and watch your back when you go to your car. Other than that not too bad. Oh and keep an eye on your drink, seriously!

There are serveral (not a ton of places) places here to go. Really kinda depends on what you/she likes... Biker atmosphere// Hog Barn, Gear Heads, Hooters & Scooters, DinnerBell, JD's rocks!... Dancing?? Not a whole lot to choose from... Wooly Bully's is fun. They have a great mix of people. Not a lot of trouble. GREAT bands. The owners are fantastic. They have lots of different things to do on different nights. Like cards, darts, karaoke (all though I think Gear Heads still is the most popular place for that)
Hip Hop club.... Club Jet.. I haven't been there a lot but it COULD be a REALLY HAPPENIN place if it is operated right... They have a big dance floor, pool tables, big bar.... GOOD LUCK! Hope she has fun!!:-)

Do NOT take anyone to Wooly Bullys for their 21st birthday unless you want them to be groped by a bunch of old skanks. That place is horrible.

To apply with the state for a liquor license for a business is roughly $10,000 - non-refundable if you are denied (background checks).

However, individuals can bring in liquor as long is it remains in a brown bag. Common courtesy would be to buy your mixers and tip your server. These rules are on the state level and might not apply to every bar. Consult your bartender first.

they allready have a liquor license, and you are welcome to play there anytime, they allow any band, but country bands do best there.

I went to club jet for the first time and loved it. If you like hip hop they play all the good dance songs all night long and the bathrooms were the cleanest that i have ever seen in a club. Not a whole lot of real young people either. It was awsome maybe try there

The best bar within 100mi, except for Nashville, is the sawmill hands down. If there was a bar like that here then the others would be gone, even your precious shit hole dinner bell.
