Probably because it isn't a real irish pub. Most americans can't handle guinness and newcastle. They'll have to sell watered down american beers along with the stouter ales to stay in business.

It's owned by two people, one of them being an owner of Bilmars as well. That's why it's called 1/2 Irish. I don't know anything about the other guy. Suppose to be a good atmosphere. :)
