Apparently bikers don't have anything better to do than sit home all day and post on topix. Bikers topics are 4 or 5 of the top posts in Cookeville topix right now.

The reason the renegades stand in the door is they are watching their own backs. With the outlaws looking to catch them they are always looking over their shoulder.

I hung out with a few of the Renegades while I was in Florida a couple of years ago. They were awesome guys and fun to hang with. They showed me nothing but respect. I'm back in Texas now and joined a club there, and the Renegades will always be welcome at our clubhouse if they are passing through. To all you haters and s***talkers, get to know someone before you start talking garbage. Show respect and that's what you will receive in return. Also, I would be careful how you talk to or about a patchholder, because disrespect will not be tolerated by most.

I think the sport bike riders around here who have no club affiliations ride more and harder than any of the bigger clubs and organizations. I ride a crotch rocket year round and I didn't see one Harley on the road this last winter. Seen an older gentleman on a BMW several days and myself. Not much of a club if you never see any of them.

How safe is it to ride 20 deep in the snow? When was the last time you rode with all your buddies in the snow? Would you take a 57 vette convertible out in the snow? I could by 3 crotch rockets with just one of my harleys. Im not gonna damage it to prove a point. Been there done that, road year round in chicago on a p.o.s. You can clean the plastic off your crotch rocket pretty easily. I will ride if I have to but I don't go 20 miles round trip and coming home late in sub zero temps is not my idea of a good time.

Well I ride solo. So never been 20 deep with anyone around here period. You obviously put a Harley on a pedestal. You probably took out a loan on a new one and paid on one for years. That's cool. Ive got a Harley price wise in the engine and suspension of my bigger jap bike. My sportster and my dyna I got used and have 10k between the two of them. It only gets expensive if you buy them at boswells in cookeville or order your parts and pay them at the shops to put them on. I do all my own work. So yes i have took the Harley's out in the cold. Yes if I owned a 57 vette I would drive that in the snow because why own something you don't drive. To hell with that. The Harley guys in this area are mostly after the show... Hey look at me I have a Harley I'm a bad ass but getting more than a 15 mile ride out of them is like pulling teeth. And for anyone looking for a Harley much better prices places like sevierville/gatlingburg at that dealer. Same bike is 4000+ cheaper than local.
