Now that the Sunoco's on Hwy 70 and the one with the McDonald's on Willow have sold to the ragheads, where will one find pure gasoline? I hate that ethanol crap & have already had to do a $1600 injector update/replacement because of it.
I hate to spend any $$ with that madman/dictator/idiot, Chavez at the Citgo but I am not using Ethanol if I can keep from it at all.

Which Citgo? I'm not supposed to burn ethanol in my car, and there is one place in Livingston with it. I sometimes need to fill up in Cookeville, and got some at Hwy 70 Sunoco about 3 weeks ago and it was still ethanol free then.

Bread Box(Murder Mart), Citgo across from Pizza Hut on Willow, and the gas station at the end of Gainesboro Grade on Hwy 56 are the only ones I know of anymore. I mainly stop at the Bread Box though. It's cheaper than the Citgo one, normally 1 cent more than advertised at the T Mart next to Tech. I have to use non-ethanol gas too, otherwise I lose about 7-8mpg in my Ford Explorer.

the one on 1-11 also recently sold. New Indian owners. They had promised beforehand to continue to employ everyone currently hired, it took about two-weeks to work out the financing (whereby two checks bounced before the transistion) and then, after official transfer, ALL American workers were summarily fired. Considering that two out of three Sunnocos in the same geographical area were formerly owned by the same individual, I'd avoid all three and take my chances with high-grade Exxon.

22mpg is better than 15... and if I could afford a brand new hybrid I'd sure as hell buy one. Geez.

did not sell to Indians. I know someone who works at the hwy 70 location and it is still same owner and still ethanol free. You are trying to start something up. Jerk.

Actually the person who owns the Hwy 70 location, is selling all of his stores. The deal almost went through last week, but did not. The guy backed out, for some unknown reason. The deal is now back on, and the stores will be sold. By the way, they ARE being sold to an indian. You are going to be seeing some changes at the Hwy 70 location.

Where are you getting your info? There has been nothing said about making the Sunoco's ethanol. The only one is the Sunoco in front of the Star Motor Inn. The new owner has already ordered loads for the Sunoco's, and all are conventional except the one.

No, it's still a free country, for the time being.

As soon as you give government control to business it goes downhill. Mark my words.
