Almost all Putnam County Deputies are very rude. They drive through town at such high speeds it's only a matter of time before they kill someone. They are out of control. It doesn't do any good to complain. I know they need to make quick responses, but not to the extent of driving 80mph or more down crowded city streets. Come on guys, use some common sense before you kill someone!

had dealings with her numerous times (on both sides of the law), no matter what she does her job. i will say she don't take crap from stupid people, but let me guess "citizen" you probably weren't doing anything wrong! but if you weren't you wouldn't have had to deal with her

well,"darn it",you are fully entitled to your own opinion.... I did nothing wrong and won't go into detail as to why I was pulled over after she rode my bumper for 2 miles blinding me with her bright lights...it was a simple issue, nothing criminal...but she made myself and my family feel like criminals from the get-go... she was totally out of line with her rude behavior towards us and shouldn't assume that everyone on the road are criminals or wanted for something and that's exactly what she was hoping for, rather than the simple issue I was pulled over for....I take it you are a "friend" perhaps of Ms. Jordan? good for you if so,but my experience with her over a simple routine traffic stop was totally inappropriate... a badge in no way should give anyone the right to talk to people the way she did us,we are all human the same as her... I understand her job may put her in potential danger, but she should have more respect for people than what she displayed towards us...

she didn't chew my a** up...she tried to bully me and my family and we didn't take it,so it pi**ed her off... she made an inappropriate remark about my 15 year old kid right in front of him, which was highly out of line, she was hoping to make her night worth her while by trying too hard to find "something" on us but she didn't and that's because we're not the criminals she was making us out to be... we got pulled over and didn't know what the reason was for,of course we couldn't get out of the car to see,so we asked her "really?" and if she was sure because we were unaware of it,there was no problem earlier...no big deal,it was fixed and she was fine with it...doesn't mean we had to bow down and kiss her behind and we didn't,she was hateful, rude and way out of line with us through the whole ordeal..we were dumbfounded at her behavior.. it was a simple issue that she chose to abuse her authority over, she'd be better served to use it on real criminals... I'm sure she has made many arrests and has gotten many criminals off the streets, kudos to her for a job well done, but me and my family are not criminals by any stretch and we feel she just needs to calm down and not assume "everyone" on the road is a criminal, like many people,me and my family are not a threat to Putnam County or anywhere else,lol...

I suggest filing a complaint at the Sheriffs department. Not worth arguing the matter on topix

In Florida we have a strong freedom of infomation act that allows citizens to request the personel files of government employees including police officers. I did a public records request of an officer a few years ago and found out that he had several disciplinary reports for sexual harrassment against another employee. The information was very helpful when I made a complaint against him. Internal affairs initaly dismissed my complaint until they knew I was aware of the officers background.

Well if you don't care for the law enforcement officials, then feel free to call a meth head, or crack head to help you. I am sure they will be more polite to you.

as proven by the police in cookeville in the last few years, the two are the same. Just because they wear a batman utility belt doesn't make them any more honest than a crack head. Ask about Reno Martin?

Listen folks! It's very easy to generalise and lump a group in with a few bad amonst them. Its just as embarrasing to law enforcement when somebody they trusted betrays them, amongst other things. Every place of employment, every family has somebody dishonest or has someone around them. Some people are shallow minded and get caught up in defaming or belittleing a whole group. Most people dont think that way and this post is not for them. Now that being said Deputy Jordan is a good Honest Deputy. Maybe she had a bad night, maybe she was catching some grief from an occupant of the vehicle, i dont know but why bring it to topix? These officers are most often recorded because of situations like this. If its such a big issue go file a formal complaint. Maybe things are just being sensationalised. To quote Mike Ditka "Stop It"

perhaps if u (citizen) were so smart you would know there is nothing simple or routine about the job they do!!! perhaps you were the problem and just can't admit it. better yet, if you can do their job better, maybe you should be the police....
