well, unless you choose to engage in behaviors that burden or harm those undeserving of harm.

how is a teacher any more of a "public figure" then a mailman or a wal-mart cashier? Does the mailman lose his ability to deliver your mail or the wal-mart cashier lose the ability to ring your items after a d.u.i. somehow? Does a junior-high algebra teacher lose the ability to teach your kid math if they get a d.u.i.?
all of these professions can be affected by an arrest made on the "up and up" or by way of corruption.

I wasn't actually looking for opinions on this matter but if anyone actually KNOWS what will happen to the teacher that was charged! I appreciate everyone's input though!

Looks like you need a teacher because you used the wrong word. It would be affect, not effect.

And you should have used a comma to seperate your compound sentence.

You have some good answers when you post, seem like an intelligent person, I just wish I could convert you over to the Republican party. What you say?

You have a rather odd name for a republican.

Oh. Like you did here? "Children have multiple role models and teachers are one of many. As for the latter part of your post, I'm not sure what your point is or what you're saying."

teachers are like cops and judges, they run everyone down and think everyone owes them something . They usually have the dirtiest hands. And I haven't never had a d.u.i. either.

You are saying you have had a DUI. It is apparent that you did not pay attention in English class. Are you the parent of a child that thinks they are the center of the universe, or said child?

No, just English. Saying "I haven't never had a DUI" is the same as saying you did. It's called a double negative. You should have payed attention so you wouldn't have grown up sounding like an uneducated fool or an immature kid - why do you think I asked which one you were?

Well teacher, looks like you aren't so perfect yourself. You missed a grammar error. Distressed used their when the word should have been spelled as they're. Keep posting, Distressed. Your comments are important to some of us and we won't trying to be grammar police. I bet someone could find an error in my post if they try hard enough.

If you're a bus driver or someone who drives school department vehicles, then it's a no brainer...you are outta there. If you're anyone else, then it should depend on the circumstances.

There you go with the double negatives again. How do people even understand what you say? Get some what? What's the matter, did your feelings get hurt? And yeah, I understand about the opinion thing, do you?
