so nobody has an answer about the atkins frozen meals? that's what this string is about, not whether or not the diet is healthy.

If you don't have a helpful answer, save your rants about how you don't think it's healthy.

I'm not worried about your health, you shouldn't be so worried about mine.

I think those frozen meals might make a great jump start to a healthy diet. Even my doc said try it for a couple of weeks, eat normally for a couple of weeks and continue two on and two off until I reach my desired weight. He also recommended adding extra vegetables to the meals.

Except that...they're not healthy. They're low carb and that's about it. One box I looked at contained eight grams of saturated fat ONE-THOUSAND mg of sodium, and a lot of cholesterol but I don't remember the exact number on that one.

You'd be better off eating a can of Chunky's soup.

Has anyone seen the new Atkins frozen meals at Walmart? The Atkins store locator says they should carry them, but I've looked several times without success. Am I just overlooking them? If anyone has found them (at any grocery store), please point me in the right direction.
Yes. I bought some just the other day (and they are pretty good). In the frozen section where expected. Don't listen to what these other people are saying....just do your own thing!:)

I recently went back to Atkins Induction and feel tremendously better. I am a type O blood type and the high protein, vegetables, salads, etc is great for my body type. I've lost 3 inches of fat and down 15 lbs in 2 months. I eat lots of salads, Atkins meals, lean meats, lots of fish and exercise 3-4 times a week. I sleep better, skin is healthier and my acid reflux has disappeared. Energy is at an all time high. Not saying it's for everyone. But, it's for me. I do cheat once in a while with wine, pizza, etc then go right back on it. Personally, love the feeling of not being bloated, full feeling from pasta, bread, carbs, sugar, etc. I think some people are missing out on this awesome feeling. Try it, do it right and see if it works for you. Good luck!

Any diet that eliminates or severely reduces any nutrient is a crock of crap. The amount of carbs permitted by the Atkin's diet is not compatible with health.
