By the way, energy, you talking green jobs??
I'm talkin OIL. BLACK GOLD. TEXAS TEA! You all come back now, ya hear.
Do you think green energy deserves no attention? Should we wait until the industry sucks the last drop of crude from the ground and then start researching green energy. Real smart. Just like climate change, somewhere there is a dumbass who would sell the last breathe of fresh air, too greedy to realize his mistake. Maybe when their million dollar seaside homes disappear, they will take it seriously! Unless the US gov has to rebuild as it has for right wing phony John Stassel of ABC news. Government assistance is bad until one these phonies needs it.

As a matter of fact, I do think green energy deserves LITTLE attention. Why? Because the cost to an average (MIDDLE CLASS) person is too outrageous for for thinking seriously about!!!

I am claiming that we should be researching and developing new forms of renewable energy ( and yes, I mean tax dollars) before the oil supply is depleted. Right now it can't compete with traditional energy sources. Who knows what the future brings.

Capitalism. Did the goverment run coal out of the transpartation market? No. Trains were replaced by cars and oil my the affoardabilty of it in the open market. Let it work, when cheaper forms of energy emerge, I promise you the public will follow. No need to sink vast amounts of money like 800 million in Solindra. Let the market work. As bad as the left hates to admit it, we are a capitalistic country and economy.

Trains were replaced by cars because one can drive a car where they want to go. When is the last time you took a train to work, grocery, etc? Before cars, folks walked or used a horse.
Green energy needs to be brought to the forefront now! Anyone that can't see the need to develop green energy is a total fool.
BTW...do you use electricity? Yes, you do. Ever thought about how expensive it was to bring electricity to the entire country? Think Jenni!

no one said green energy was bad. But it was to make sense. Dumping 800 million tax payer dollars in a company like Solindra does not make since. I know they put lots of money into the Obama campain, but corperate political buy offs is not going to solve the energy crisis. No spin can justify it.

FYI Dominos is also run by hard core conservatives and Pizza Hut is gives more to republicans too.
Interesting how these successful chains were created by hard working conservatives who have created hundreds of thousands of jobs for people. Nobody is forcing them to work at those chains. They can go to school and get a better job like many Americans have done or they can work service industry jobs, life's not fair deal with it.
So if you liberals want to be completely guilt free it looks like it'll be pick-up from some crappy pizza chain.
Might I add, that because of the Capitolist ideaology they probably share....they work to drive price DOWN! Good for you and me. So yes, 14 cents IS an issue to them. First the 14 cents must be based on current levels of sale. What happens when you lose part of the market? That 14 cents becomes....22 cents, and so on.

The whole primise of Obamacare is business killing. Instead of encouraging competition that drives consumer costs DOWN and quality UP...saddling business' with the responsibility of government mandated/regulated insurance is horrible.

Of course business' will change to avoid the effects of Obamacare.....up to and including, less full time employees and more work on current employees (more pressure to perform or lose your PART TIME job)...bad for working people..STILL. The option, close the doors as the framework by which you can profit (Capitolim)by your own efforts uninhibited is gone....or slowly die by the repression of the new "Social Justice" / Socialism on the economy/society.

Trains are still used mightily across this country in delivery of goods and products. Green energy is a pipe dream of AGENDA 21. And that idiotic " global warming" farce!

Not AGENDA 21! Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh
Quick! To the bomb shelter!
Those polar bears aren't drowning. They just were never taught to swim. LOL
Global warming a "farce". Global warming is a fact. What and who to blame it on is the question. Seems odd that the GOP can't stand science, but are willing to let our very existence up to corporate paid researchers. I'm sorry, the Koch brothers paid "science lackeys" do not count as scientists.

Its always best to let the free market decide. When "green" energy is affordable it will be in demand, but our tax money has no business being given out to oblama supporters setting up "green energy" companies, filing bankruptcy, and pocketing our(the American taxpaying workers) money. Try putting a windmill or solar panel on the roof of your car and see how far you get.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Libra

Going shopping today? Then don't be surprised if you splash out on items that are that little bit different from your usual purchases. For instance, if you set off for the supermarket you might end up buying lots of exotic ingredients so you can experiment with them. This is unlikely to get out of hand unless you're feeling bored or fed up, in which case you'll want to spend your way out of your current mood.
