Oh no, I can't do that. I gotta have my materialistic things and keep up with the Joneses. What do I care if Walmart has run American factories and businesses out? It's not my problem and I have to have my stuff.

I use Papa John's because they are the only ones who deliver to my area. I see that as impacting me more than his politics.
I never use wal mart because of the poor quality merchandise, again this impacts me more than their politics....however, I find the use of slave labor repugnant so I probably would not go there even if the quality was better.

The list is endless:

Levi's = donates to hangun control
Susan G Komen foundation = donates to Planned Parenthood
JCPenny(the man himself kept more missionaries in the field that any church, when he was alive) now supports the homosexual agenda.
We all know how Chik-filet feels.
blah, blah, blah...

So tell me... do you really care who you spend money with? Does it even matter? What is a person who considers themselves to have principals to do?

PS. I dislike obama's policies but I don't think mitt was much better.

Yes, it matters to me. While I know my not patronizing places doesn't really hurt them finacially, it costs me spiritually. I am not comfortable with that. I happen to think if you really feel strongly about something you should be prepared to back it up, no matter how inconvenient or uncomfortable it may make you, but that is me. To each his own.

Typical reply from a moronic republican. I guess you want everyone to work for minimum wage with no benefits. How is that anti-union stance you hillbillies have really working for you? Ok, first you attract the companies here by being anti-union while the state of Tennesse gives them huge tax breaks and other incentives to come here. For example, instead of the company paying a union job $20/hour with health benefits and a retirement plan, they pay you morons $10/hour with no insurance or retirement. Sometimes they might throw in a 401k which sucks compared to a pension and sometimes they give you an option to buy their health insurance. Very generous I must say lol... And after they have drained all Tennessee will give they in tax breaks and incentives, they soon realize those damn rednecks are being paid way too much at even $10/hr. So instead of paying a whopping $10/hr, they are going to Mexico and China to pay them less than a $1/hr. So your anti-union stance did absolutely nothing but let the company use you morons for slaves and drain the state of Tennessee of resources. Good going redneck dipshits! Everyone stay Anti-Union and work for Slave Wages! Next thing I will see is Republicans saying we got a bunch of hillbillies that will work for $1.00/hr so now we can stop outsourcing jobs. Those dumb rednecks used to walk around barefoot in the 1930s, 2013 shouldn't be any different....

Wait a minute...aren't you one of those advocating that folks have to be responsible for their own selves, regardless of what the situation is and that it is not anyone else's responsibility to provide for others? So you think I should go against my beliefs and values to prop up a multimillion dollar corporation that is too greedy to pay its employees a decent wage just so those employees won't lose their jobs? A little hypocritical, don't you think? Is it my duty to business with Papa John's to keep those people employed? How about this? If Papa John's has to lay off employees or goes out of business because folks quit buying their pizza due to their policies, then Papa John's needs to change, not me.

The typical idiot that has never ran a company and doesn't know how economics work. I challenge you to run a business and see how that works out for you, I would be willing to bet that you wouldn't last a year. If you don't like us "rednecks" just leave and get yourself a $20 p/h job, I promise we won't miss you. Go somewhere else and pay your union dues, unions stopped working for the working man 50 years ago.

It's not hypocritical at all. Those people decided to work there, a gun was not pointed at them they knew the wages and lack of benefits, but they are working. You can choose to stop buying from them, but because you don't agree with his views is no reason to stop buying, grow up. If he were to pay them a high priced wage, benefits, and insurance the cost of a pizza would be $30 and no one would buy them.

Are you serious? Because I disagree with Papa John's views is no reason to stop buying from them? On the contrary! I am not obligated to buy pizza anywhere, especially a place whose practices I strongly disagree with. And my saying why you are hypocritical went right over your head. Let's try it again....you have made several posts stating that people are responsible for themselves, no matter what and that no one is responsible for providing for them and then you make the statement that it is stupid to "quit" Papa John's because if I do people might lose their jobs. So which one is it, I am responsible for their jobs and keeping them working, or they are responsible? And your right, those people chose to work there, so if they lose their jobs, its not on me. They shouldn't have chose to work for such a crappy employer to begin with.
It is no ones duty to be a consumer/customer to multimillion dollar companies (or any companies) in order to provide a few low paying jobs. And I won't sell out on my values just because I want cheap pizza.

Papa John's CEO Says Obamacare Will Add $0.11-$0.14 Cost Per Pizza.

Restaurants have been freaking out about the Obamacare changes that are going to hit in 2014. All the chains are going to be affected, but by how much?
Papa John's founder and CEO John Schnatter says that the costs from Obamacare will add 11 to 14 cents per pizza, or 15 to 20 cents per order, reports Alicia Kelso at Pizza Marketplace.
He is vowing to pass those costs down to consumers, reports Dennis Berman at the WSJ.
Other fast food chains have weighed in on the topic as well. In its most recent earnings call, McDonald's said that Obamacare will cost stores $10,000 to $30,000, and that the company is not worried about it.
