I am new in town and have an important date coming up in the next little bit does anyone know of a doc that would prescribe diet pills to me or a doc that is accepting new clients. I do exercise and eat fairly healthy but need to loose 15 lbs. Has anyone had any luck with prescription diet pills?

There are a couple diet pill clinics in town. One is called New Weigh & it is across from WalMart on Jefferson. The other is Doctor's Diet Program. It is on Willow down from Kicks radio station. I don't know how much overweight you need to be to get them though. You have to have a BMI of a certain number. The best thing to do is just give them a call. They give Phentermine, which does work. It will make you have no appetite at all so the weight falls off, but you have to be careful not to gain it back when you go off them.

NO diet pill on the market is going to make you drop a significant amount of weight in a very little amount of time and no responsible doctor is going to prescribe them to you so that you can drop a few vanity pounds for a date. Your BMI must exceed a certain number for them to even consider writing you a prescription (ie: more than 40 pounds overweight) and I would be extremely weary of any doctor that hands them out like candy. Having taken phentermine in the past, I would never recommend it for someone who wasn't significant overweight with zero history of high blood pressure. My BP shot up to over 200/114 while taking those pills.

No. They are very cheap (to me, anyways) but like I said, you really need to weigh the risks and benefits with a responsible doctor. They're an amphetamine so they can cause pretty bad side effects and if you have any type of seizure disorder, STAY FAR AWAY.

I could not disagree with you more. I am not severely obese but could lose around 30lbs and talk to my doctor about phentermine. He did prescribe them to me. I have monthly checkups and exercise daily along and as of today I have lost 13lbs in a month. They give me so much energy and curb my appetite. No blood pressure problems what so ever. Medication interacts differently to different people. Maybe she is obese and did not want to announce it to the world. I would highly recommend them to anybody who is stuck and can't lose weight.

Eat less and go exercise people! There is no such thing as a "miracle pill" that will make you to loose weight.

So the $29 covers everything? I'm wondering because I have cushing disease which has caused me to balloon to almost 100 pounds overweight and have been searching for an affordable and effective method of weight loss.

Yes the $29 covers everything. It use to be around $75 but I guess they had to drop their prices since the new one opened up.

Best Weight Loss on Willow also has it for $30 for visit and month of pills. They are real nice and not a long wait to get in. Plus they have a shot that helps also. They are about 2 blocks or so past Wendy's towards Tech on the same side of the road.

Exercise is important but it's still more about what you eat rather than how much you eat.

Have fun with the insanely high blood pressure that prescription diet pills cause!
