If you are drawing SSI, Social Security, are getting other government assistance, or on other welfare programs, you should know this:

President Obama has designed a program for people in these category’s, It’s the disabled labor, and poverty level Labor Reform Centers.

These centers will be designed for two categories of people; First those who are jobless and on welfare.
Second, those who are on SSI/Social Security, age 55 and under.

These centers for those on SSI/ Social Security will start opening under Obama’s administration. in late February 2013 , across the nation.

The centers for the disabled, will have a Medical Doctor/Nurse Practitioner on duty along with nursing, and other staff .
The centers will also be equipped with an area for the disabled, where they can rest and relax, should they get tired, or become ill during their light labor task‘s for the day.
Recipients, under the disability Reform centers, will be required to attend the centers four days a week, for six hours a day.

The second group of receipts , who are on unemployment and drawing government assistance will be required to attend a work reform center that will have recipients, involved in job training, and job seeking classes. They will require that attendants attended GED classes, if they haven’t received a High School diploma.

They will also be required to attended the training centers five days per week, 8 hours a day, until they receive job placement.
These training centers will include a daycare, for children, and transportation for recipients to attend job interviews and seek employment .

My opinion, this will be another huge cost to the tax payers, From President Obama, and his administration.

Sounds like a good Idea to me. All of the perfectly healthy people that make a living off of the taxpayers may think twice about getting a job if they're going to have to spend all day working in the centers before they can get their government check. All we need to do now, with the exception of the eldery, is require everyone on foodstamps to plant a garden every year. Also, limit government assistance to two or three kids per family because I know women that will spread their legs and pop out another kid every time they want a bigger paycheck.

The only problem with these is...how is somebody who is quite profoundly and truly disabled going to work or plant a garden? I'm not talking about degenerative joint disease. I'm talking about somebody who is severely mentally and physically incapacitated to the point that they require 24 hour care.

The best course of action would be to stop giving disability to people who aren't disabled. A bummed hip isn't disabling. Inconvenient maybe but certainly not disabling in most cases (anybody can sit on a chair, yes?) Depression and bipolar disorder, as annoying as they may be, should not qualify somebody for disability because honestly, working is probably the best thing that can be done for these disorders. The only mental illness that should qualify is schizophrenia and related brain disorders.

My bad, I should have said with the exception of the elderly and truly disabled. It's sad that people who truly need help can't get it while perfectly capable people have no problem getting it. I know one guy has never worked a day in his life and is on disability.you'll never guess what's wrong with him. Believe it or not, poor thing has a nervous stomach.

If true, this is awesome. Those who don't show up loose their benefits. Those who show up get drug tested and put to work or train for a new vocation. Yes, it will cost tax payers initially but there are paybacks. People go to work get off assistance and start paying taxes. I see it as a win win proposition.

However, since it's makes sense, the government will never do it!

I have looked also and i'm not finding anything. The main things that come up is the welfare reform crap nothing about reform camps. I know they did pass a law but it was state law that people on welfare had to start being drug tested, but that's the only thing I know about it.

Obama ain't gonna do jack crap. He wants everybody to get it free and be dependent on the govt so they will always vote democratic. This great plan is more along the lines of something Romney will do. Help people not just enable them.

Ok jerk! since you called me a liar, I wont post on you’re stupid topix form again.
There’s no reason to be nasty and resort to name calling because I posted my opinion.

I didn’t agree with this program, because it was going to cost the taxpayers more money, which is something your president Obama is good at.

I have spoke with a repressive of the Romney campaign, who assured me that the Romney Campaign would not support such a costly program that would further burden the taxpayers.

I don’t care if you believe me are not,‘You want proof ’? If everything works out as your president has planed, they will be sending out letters to everyone , I suspect around January 2013.

What you should do when you get your letter, is write them back and say, You are a liar!!

There's nothing wrong for asking for a link. Other forums have links all the time. I don't know why Linda or whatever their name is would get upset over it.
