If you read the thread you would know why I started it. I was just curious if anyone else had the same problem.

This and other information about Henry Fincher can be found at HenryFincher.info (note ending .info) Its a web site I created to share info with others that the media won't tell you.

HENRY FINCHER’s Dilemma-
The State Democratic Party supports abortion, gun control and homosexual marriage. Most of us in Putnam County do not. Thus Henry Fincher has the problem of how to win elections in Putnam County and still gain favor within his party’s leadership.

In order to succeed within the state Democratic Party, Henry must support the liberal agenda in Nashville and at the same time convince the voters at home that he opposes these issues.

Henry’s strategy is to introduce and supports bills (and amendments to bills} that he knows go against conservative values. He supports the liberal agenda in his voting and wording of bills and amendments, until a bill comes to the floor for a final vote. If for example a pro-life bill makes it to the floor to be voted on, he will vote with the pro-life group even though he has voted with the pro-abortion groups on amendments to the bill that if they had passed would have destroyed the intent of the bill.(ref SJR127, HR61)
Contrary to his ads, Henry Fincher is pro-abortion and is not conservative as he says he is.

It is interesting to note that as a freshman representative he was given a large office up front. These are usually received for those with significant tenure. Could a deal have been made right at the start with the then speaker of the house, Naifeh?

I'll vote for anybody who is pro-human rights...and I don't think a fetus deserves more rights than a gay couple. So there ya go.

So I get this postcard in the mail from Henry Fincher's campaign office and on it is a list of things about Henry that are stated to influence my vote. Well, two of them did. They said:
1 Henry Fincher is a member of the Church of Christ
2 Henry Fincher is against gay marriage
Thing is - they influenced me NOT to vote for him.
First, anyone who is a TRUE Church of Christ follower will not make a good representative because they will never be able to act according to all their constituents needs in a unbiased manner.
Second, if someone is oppossed to gay marriage that is their business and they are entitled to their belief, just as I am mine...that is is not the governments business. His postcard tells me he thinks it is. Also, if he is using that to garner votes, then that tells me he will use his personal beliefs and not those of all when making decisions as a representative.
Anyone who uses/advertises their religious beliefs to gain favor loses appeal to me as well.
I am glad to have received this info Mr. Fincher, it was very enlightening. And after reading the post from Mr. Persson above, it sure makes it seem as if you are two faced and a liar. Just the kind of person we DO NOT need representing us.

Buddy, your grapevine is full of shit.

He is not getting divorced. Don't know about him cheating, that's not my business. Or yours.

Yes, he drinks beer, like millions of other guys. But definitely not an alcoholic.

I also heard the same thing. Bull, you're not on the grapevine or you're either trying to cover it. But, it's out and people know. I just feel sorry for his family. What a terrible thing to go through. And this isn't the place to discuss it for the sake of the family having to readjust their lives and move on. So, for the sake of respect, it'll get out in time, let's not talk about it here or make matters worse for his family. He's embarrassed them enough.
