You need your azz kicked for posting something like that. I pray there doesn't come a day when you have some kind of brain injury after someone knocks the hell out of you and you need those services. One can tell by your lack of decency that you wouldn't work for $20.00 an hour, let alone $7.25. Moron.

Obvious troll is obvious. And all of us are a car accident away from wearing diapers and being spoon fed for the rest of our lives.

You couldn't have said it better. So many just don't know or don't understand how easily that can happen.
So cruel

You should be ashamed of yourself for saying something like that. It takes very special people to work with people like this. It requires a heart, compassion, understanding, love and just plain decency. You obviously don't have any of these qualifications.

I have a brother who has dandy walker syndrome. If somebody ever called him a retard to my face, I'd knock them out! He is exhausting to care for but he brings joy to our lives every day. I carried a picture of him with me every day while I was serving in Afghanistan. He is my brother, and I will never be ashamed of him.

I love you, Andy.

Had never heard of this disease until your comment. Just spent about an hour reading links on it.
Andy, you are one of God's most special people. Stay tough and strong my friend. You have a wonderful brother who treasures you.

People who bully or make fun of the handicapped are the lowest of the low.....down there with child molesters and people who con the elderly.

Pacesetters does need to pay a lot more to their workers. I am a nurse and I would not work with Pacesetters individuals for less than $15 an hour. That's asking too much from somebody. Someone has to do that job, but that's not something I would want to do. Glad there are folks out there who want to or will.

I respect your opinion and I'm sure many feel as you do. I also realize that folks have to make enough money to live. However, many of us have a family member with special needs while others are just wonderful people who care more about their clients than the pay. Pacesetters is low paying but unless you have worked there or in a similar situation then you can't imagine how rewarding the work can be.

I have worked there for last 4.5 years and find it very rewarding. I knew what the pay was when I started and am really glad to even have a job.

I'd have happily done that but i've got no car so i didnt bother with the application, a gas station clerk urged me to apply. it's odd though, living near at least a couple of households like that, that i'd need a vehicle lol

You don't need a car - just a good driving record and a valid TN driver's license. Pacesetters provides cars and vans. That's just one of the things that sets them apart from others that work with the disabled in this area.

I think "You gotta be kidding me" should get his/her head checked. The people in these programs are not all "R". some were born healthy & happy individuals. Some have had accidents or illness that causes side effects that make these programs necessary for them. If you were in an accident, would you rather die than receive help from people who care, and are willing to do it for $7.25?
