I really don't care what others drive, but don't make fun of small cares. Not all people want to spend big money on a vehicle. I can't because I help take care of my senior parents and they're more important than driving something bigger than what I have. Just saying.

I love the trucks and really see nothing wrong with them. You're in the wrong town if they bother you. As for the blinding headlights, I agree they are awful and shouldn't be on any vehicle. It sucks to be the person driving in front of them.

Clearly you've never driven down the narrow portion of north willow with one of these doucehmongers in the lane next to you riding the double line.

It's not freedom, amigo, it's stupidity. Driving a vehicle whose bumper is at the eye level of a driver in a low car like a Porsche 968 for instance, that is not only stupid but irresponsible as well.

Isn't it silly to be judged by what you drive? Howard Hughes drove an old beat up vehicle and had tons of money. My brother drives a 12 year-old car and has a beautiful home in the Virgin Islands. He said if he spent money on a fancy vehicle during his lifetime he couldn't have such a nice place to call home. I guess it's where you've put your priorities.

Then stay in the Czech Republic or perhaps don't drive a 968 if you are such a weenie. We do things different here. That is unless the Libs get their way so they can control every aspect of our lives. Right now they are on a pretty good run. Very scary.

So if someone has a different opinion you think they shouldn't stay here and stay in the Czech Republic? I'm from 'here" also with roots going back a long, long way here and you bellyaching about your usual "they're taking everything away" stuff is based on what? Every topic you twist it into a political bitchfest. What have they taken away? I got my truck, I got my guns, I got my job. What the hell have you lost? And if someone drives a 968 I say good for them. I don't see why drivers can't freaking show a little courtesy for other drivers. So we all turn into rude ass people and say if you don't like it get out? You're whats wrong with this place. No respect and that's scary. If you want some, show some.

You must feel so proud of yourself. Blinding people with your Lexus highbeams shows such intellect, especially for the safety of people. Do you ever, just once, think that children may be in the vehicle that you blind? You could be the cause of a terrible and maybe fatal accident, but go ahead and show them your big highbeams - that will teach them, right? Think twice about doing that the next time you're out. People make mistakes when they think you have your highs on and you really don't. There are literally times where I had to almost come to a complete halt because I cannot see with oncoming highs. I don't even flash because it usually doesn't do any good. I just pray that me and my two children don't go off the shoulder because someone's highbeams were so bright that I literally could not see the road in front of me.

Are you implying that people should have to wear sunglasses at night just to avoid being blinded the occasion dickweed? I guess that kind of logic is to be expected of someone who wouldn't be able to pass 2nd grade English class. May I suggest Sylvan learning center? Oh. That's right. They take money, which you don't have because you blow it on illegal lights, 50 foot spoilers, and glasspacks for your four banger Honda.

The thing is, if people think you have your high beams on, 90% of the time your headlights are too damn bright to begin with. My mom drives a BMW with stock HIDs, which are pretty damn bright. She's never been flashed. Ever. They're bright but they're also calibrated correctly so that blinding or hurting the eyes of oncoming traffic is not an issue.

People like the person you responded to have a middle school mentality. It takes somebody dying for them to realize that what they're doing is ignorant and self-absorbed beyond belief and sometimes even then they'd could care less.

I don't know about every car, but my car came stock with the really bright headlights (& a wing & a spoiler). My car has a knob inside that lets me adjust how high the headlights point as I sit behind the wheel. I was told when I bought the car that every car that had these kind of headlights stock has that adjustment -- the dealership guy may or may not have known what he was talking about. btw, I NEVER get flashed for high beams because I don't have my lights blinding other people like a douchebag.

So why doesn't your crappy Lexus have automatic adjustment on the beams? Oh to show bow upscale you are, after all you drive a Lexus, you have to turn on your highs? If you were a self confident person you wouldn't feel the juvenile need for doing such a dumb thing.
