Tornado kills at least 51 in OK including several children at school.
The first person who says "please pray for them" deserves to be kicked in the face. If god was real it never would have happened

I wish he was powerful enough to stop them.

He has the power to stop them but he chose not to? So what do you think your prayers will accomplish? God allowed kids to be killed and now you think he's going to bring their families "peace" because you asked him to?

You people are nuts.

the Scripture says "if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways , then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land." Very clear, our country is rotten!

They always have.

What about the hundreds of babies slaughtered by Herod's men at the time of the birth of Christ?

The biblical worldview is the only one that makes sense. If you knew the Bible, you would know that every tribulation on earth is the result of man's sin and that the whole creation groans in turmoil, awaiting the return of Jesus Christ to set it all straight. And you can be as sure He will do that as you are that the sun will rise tomorrow.

I think it is interesting that unbelievers always blame God for the results of man's sin. We were not created as robots. We were given a free will to love Him and follow Him, or as you have done, reject Him in unbelief. You have that choice.

Just don't blame God for the results of sin. Of course innocent people suffer as the result of the evil in men's hearts. Where have you been?

There is no proof that a person called god is real, only stories that were passed down, sorry but these are the facts. If you have facts not stories please tell me.

So sin causes tornados? And you worship the god who came up with this system?

The only worldview that makes sense is that people are willing to believe wacky things if their peer group reinforces it. We learn this from psychology - not theology.

OK, a slow learner. I will try again.

God made a perfect creation, but gave His creatures, first angels, then people, a free will to love and follow Him or not. Sadly, Lucifer (Satan), chose to rebel and about 1/3 of the angels followed him.

When Adam sinned he corrupted the fountainhead of the human race, and the sad results continue today. Once again, the whole creation is in turmoil today -- pestilence, war, earthquakes, famine, disease, starvation -- it's all a result of sin.

Fortunately, God gives us an answer to all that, in that He sent His Son to die for our sins on the cross, and if we accept that free gift from Him, we are saved from the penalty of our sin and are promised eternal life with Him in a new earth that is totally remade and free from the corruption it is now infested with.

As I said, the biblical worldview explains everything you see around you, from the beauty of creation, the undeniable complexity and design of every DNA molecule in your body, to Christian groups reaching out to help tornado victims, and yes, sadly, the horrors of abortion, rape, crime, incest, warmongering, and every other evil you can think of.

Open your eyes, man, the evidence is all around you. Why, if the Bible is a myth, do you think that the center of the world's attention in the 21st century is the Middle East, particularly Israel? That is a tiny country with very limited natural resources, with unbelievably wealthy Arab neighbors nearby with trillions of dollars' worth of oil. Their hatred is focused on that tiny little sliver of land that God said can never be destroyed and will play a pivotal role in the final chapter of history. The obvious answer is that Satan desires to thwart God's plans and if he could ever destroy Israel, he would prove God to be a liar. Why do you think Hitler (and others) hated the Jewish people so much? Do you think he came up with all that himself? No, he was empowered by Satan himself.

The book of 1 Corinthians says that "the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing." You should think long and hard about that.

We're all perishing. So the "word of the cross" is foolishness to everyone. I agree!!

And watch out for Satan. I think he's hiding under your bed.

Actually Christians get to live the good life for eternity after our flesh dies. Wow! Thank you Jesus for that!

So the 24 people who were killed in the tornado yesterday are now burning in hell for eternity unless they had made a conscious decision to "accept Christ" before about 4:00pm yesterday.

Sounds like a just and loving god to me. Thank you Jesus for keeping the riff raff out of heaven.
