Byron Looper is too good for the death penalty. He's needs to suffer. Suffer for what he has done to this family, our friend and a great Senator. If they put him to death, then he's no longer suffering. Yes, I'm gloating about the fact that low life will spend his whole useless life behind bars. There are people in the same prison that have not made it easy for him. He got what he deserved.
I do hope you are right, I knew Tommy Burks, persoanlly and he was a wonderful man, did not deserve to die like he did. I hope and pray that Byron Looper HAS BEEN passed around so much, that he's dizzy. Maybe he will die of AIDS, serves him right.

Yeah let's dredge up more terrible memories for the families of those murdered. You're nothing but a topix gossiper.
Why don't you "get a life" and quit being the topix police. If you don't like the subject, then move along. I don't know why on earth people like you feel the need to reprimand others. Now go bother someone else you dufus.

Everyone is talking about murders from before I was born. The one that stuck out to me as a teenager was Michael Connelly. Who was murdered by Justin Parliment. I knew all parties involved and could not believe it ever came to that.

Michael Bush killed a young man named Richard Dow in 1989. Richard was working at Red Food Grocery Store (where Staples is now) and was collecting shopping carts in the parking lot and Bush kidnapped and murdered Dow for absolutely no reason (other than Bush was crazy). It was VERY sad, especially because Richard was so young-he was only 17 at the time I believe. I have never forgotten this and have often thought of the Dow family and cannot for one second imagine what they went through. Bush himself was still pretty young from what I can recall.

Bush also killed an elderly lady during the same time, the best I remember is they knew one another.Yeah, I agree, Bush had to be crazy.A sane person wouldn't do that, but then again, wouldn't you think all murders has something wrong?

He was killed in the driveway at his home. His home was located next to his club, The Bottom of the Mountain Club. It was up toward Overton County off old hwy 42.

The most memorable to me would be Tiffany Taylor, the girl that murdered her mother in the late 90s and used a sleep walking defense.

And of course, the murder of Jason Martin by Floyd Cartwright.

So sad......

On another thread I had posted that Taylor walked after serving a few years in juvenile but someone was kind enough to let us know that she went to the pen from juvenile. I looked her up and she's in the pen for the long haul as well she should be. I appreciate being corrected in a nice manner by someone who does know the facts.
