<quoted text> the man was killed in a robbery. What is so terrible is that the police knew he was robbing it ahead of time and were in the back of store watching every second...
That you are correct it seemed as if the cops we not going to do noting they knew ahead of time it was going to happen

You need to get your facts straight or find something to talk about that you can't get wrong.

What about Don Calahan murdering the 91 year old man for $1?
The case I really wish someone could recall is around 1990 when Jason Kennedy murdered his grandmother.
It happened on November 1st, 1997. He was my great uncle, he was 81 when they murdered him. You can read my replies on here about it. My great uncle was Hollis Tallent, and they didn't kill him easily. No one will tell me the TRUE FACTS of the two MURDERERS whereabouts because unlike then( when they killed him) I now live here where I then lived back west.

I'm pleased to tell you that they both got life without parole.Don is Currently serving his miserable excuse for a life in Morgan County Correctional Facility in Wartburg TN. I'm also fairly certain Andrea Shuttuck is in a women's prison in Nashville.
Unfortunately, Andrea Shattuck was eligible for parole on 4-25-98 and has a parole hearing in Feb. 2014. Her sentence end as of today is 9-9-2014. As for Don Callahan, I'm not finding him in the system. The only one listed has a birthdate in 1990, unless it's an error, that couldn't be him. If it is an error and it is him, he's already on probation. That is the justice my 81 year old great uncle got and it cost him his life.

I couldn't find him in the system either, as I was SHOCKED to receive a friend request from him on Facebook and know now that he is a free man today! Has been out for a month now!! So he spent 15 years. I was lookin for him to find out what year it had happened because I wa so shocked to see that it ha been NO time already. I knew him VERY VERY well.

Also, though the details are foggy because of the fact I was so shocked that I had a murderer in. Y home many MANY times over such a LONG period of time. I know for certain the main weapon used was one of those L-shaped tire (things). He was literally bludgeoned to death with it. I want to say an ice pick also, but don't take that one for certain. Either way, it was one of THE most cold hearted acts anyone could carry out. Not to mention he was small like you said, and elderly. They did NOT have to kill him. I doubt he was THAT big of a threat then being small. So, it was out of pure hate and anger from evil souls.

Thank you, 411 seeker, for the info...Unfortunately I have seen the crime scene pics due to having been in Law Enforcement myself. Yes, it was a very horrible scene and yes he was a small man, but due to the defense wounds I know he did in fact put up a fight. I pray that Don Callahan and I come face to face one day. I do want to let him know that as a christian family, he is forgiven and I just hope he can forgive himself. We miss my great uncle just as bad now as we did even then. He would have been 96 and I'm sure he would've still been here with us and as feisty as he was then. It was only the tire iron that was used and the hands of those two. I forgive but that doesn't mean I have to like them. I still think they are the lowest of scum. He died at the hands of Don Callahan and Andrea told Don to finish him off. They both should have spent life in prison w/out possibilty of parole. The death penalty would've been too easy. Now Don will have to spend his Cookeville days known as the elderly mans murderer. If you're reading this Don, how does it feel to be classified with that title? Do you live your remaining days easily? Do you sleep well at night? Can I ask, do you still see my great uncle squirming around trying to fight you off with what little strength he had left and can you still hear him gurgling fighting to keep breathing so that he may stay here on earth with his family? I hope the image never leaves your mind. As you can see, it still hurts.

I've seen Don's facebook page now. He has no remorse, his religous views consist of voodooism and his mindset is horrible. God has a special place for you Don Callahan, man's law did no justice for my uncle....but you better be prepared for Gods judgement day!!! You will pay the price for MURDERING MY 81 YEAR OLD, FRAIL GREAT UNCLE THAT ALSO HAD EMPHYSEMA!!!! Your tattoo riddled body is just a cover for how weak you are, it takes a coward and very weak boy to MURDER such a small elderly man...You grew up a nobody and will always be a nobody, hiding behind your fake location and fake birthdate. If you learned anything or had even become a stronger man, you wouldn't be the person you portray yourself to be on facebook...You would be able to face us "his family" and give us answers as to why you MURDERED HOLLIS TALLENT 81 YEARS OLD. Are you strong enough to answer all our questions? Are you mature enough to answer them rightfully? Would you be strong enough to show remorse?

Wow.. Great way of expressing your feelings. Although, he may not have been a blood relative of mine, I speak out for the people of Cookeville to say, we also, feel the same way. His Facebook status updates SAY he had no remorse! It's discusting!

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Pisces

You're raring to go today, especially on domestic projects. You'll achieve a tremendous amount if you're allowed to proceed at your own pace and in your own time, but you'll soon get ratty if you suspect someone is breathing down your neck or trying to tell you what to do. You'll also feel irritated with people you know really well, so be prepared for a few fireworks.
