the point is that this stuff has not been tested at all. I haven't seen anyone flip out while smoking cigarettes and end up in the psycho ward. I have seen that happen with someone over plant food/bath salts. Sure people do sometimes get in fights when drunk and may have killed other people accidently when drunk (driving, maybe during a fight). But I this stuff makes some people very paranoid even to the point that they think people are out to get them. My boyfriend a grown man 23 years old kept thinking while on them all kinds of crazy stuff. He thought people were breaking into my house. he even called the police and had them search the house for evidence of a break in. He thought someone tampered with his car, he accused me of having recorders on my body and working for the CIA to get him. It got really out of hand. He said my neighbor was breaking in when i wasnt home. It got rediculous and even if you stop doing it some of the effects can last for days. So if the person takes it on monday he might still be paranoid on wednesday and then it has been three days and if he does it again then he will be paranoid till friday and does it again on friday. he was living in a constant state of paranoia. It was awful. And they aren't still high but the psychologial effects are still hurting them. Some people have died off the drug but the numbers of people in the psych ward over the drug are even higher. Most of the people that have died you read about usually tried to kill themselves over paranoia like the kid who swore that there were police helicopters in his backyard and police cars surrounding the house. Also there have been cases where the drug itself has killed people as well like kidneys shutting down, cardiac arrest etc. A grown man may have some idea of what he is getting into but not really. What is one good feeling that leaves you feeling 10x worse after it wears off? When you read about overdose cases typically they OD because they know the comedown off this stuff is horrible so they keep doing it knowing also each time they do it again the comedown is going to be worse when they finally get it. I think it is an awful drug and so far from the things i have read it seems worse than a lot of drugs that are already illegal. It needs to be illegal before more people get hurt. I have also read somewhere that it tends to increase the mood you are in so if you are happy it will make you feel euphoric but if you are depressed when you do it than you are asking for trouble. Why take a drug when depressed that is going to make you 10x as depressed?
Maybe this is where the issue really is it. Maybe someone takes it while feeling good ends up feeling great. then sometime later they are feeling depressed and remember how great they felt on the stuff and takes it to feel great but ends up more depressed from using it cause it effected them different this time cause their mood was different. maybe I am wrong there but maybe other people can clear this up on the forum. As the last part is just what i have gathered from watching youtube videos about it and also reading other peoples forums on other sites.

Mephedrone
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Meow Meow" redirects here. For the song, see Meow Meow (song). For other uses, see Meow (disambiguation).
Not to be confused with methedrine, methedrone, methadone, or methylone.
Mephedrone
Systematic (IUPAC) name
(RS)-2-methylamino-1-(4-methyl phenyl)propan-1-one[1]:5
Identifiers
CAS number 1189805-46-6
Mephedrone, also known as 4-methylmethcathinone (4-MMC), or 4-methylephedrone, is a synthetic stimulant and entactogen drug of the amphetamine and cathinone classes. Slang names include meph,[5] drone,[6] and MCAT.[7] It is reportedly manufactured in China and is chemically similar to the cathinone compounds found in the khat plant of eastern Africa. It comes in the form of tablets or a powder, which users can swallow, snort or inject, producing similar effects to MDMA, amphetamines and cocaine.
As well as producing the intended stimulant effects, negative side effects occur when mephedrone is used, with teeth grinding the most common. The metabolism of mephedrone has been studied in rats and humans, and the metabolites can be detected in urine after usage. Nothing is known about the potential neurotoxicity of mephedrone, but scientists have suggested possible dangers associated with its use based on its similarity to other drugs. Several people have died after consuming mephedrone, but some deaths that the media attributed to the drug were later determined to have been caused by other factors.
Mephedrone was first synthesised in 1929 but did not become widely known until it was rediscovered in 2003. By 2007 mephedrone was reported to be available for sale on the internet, by 2008 law enforcement agencies had become aware of the compound and by 2010 it had been reported in most of Europe, becoming particularly prevalent in the United Kingdom. Mephedrone was first made illegal in Israel in 2008, followed by Sweden later that year. In 2010 it was made illegal in many European countries and in December 2010, the EU ruled it illegal across Europe. In Australia, New Zealand, and the USA it is considered an analog of other illegal drugs and can be controlled by laws similar to the Federal Analog Act. In the USA, this only applies if the drug is sold for human consumption, allowing it to be sold legally if labelled as 'plant food' or 'bath salts'.

Here's an idea. Why don't you get real radical and do nothing. I mean no alcohol, tobacco, or chemicals? Come on over and join the few of us who choose not to indulge in harmful products. It takes some time to adjust, but I guarantee feeling better by cutting out junk in your diet and exercising beats taking any kind of mood enhancers plus most people take this stuff just to mask deeper issues.

Lay off the bath salts, kid. Jeez...

Ok, drugs like these "bath salts" are different because not only are they as addictive as meth and coke, but they make you flip out, go crazy, and hallucinate..

Just having a little dumped into your drink, assuming you dont even drink it all(like this guy) can make you flip the hell out and go crazy.

(And if you're saying the news, reporters, police, and EVERYONE are ALL lying here and across the globe to conspire against you and bath salts, you probably need some rest, and need to sober up a bit.) This stuff is real, and the effects of it's unmetered hot and cold dosages concocted in some guys bath tub in Murfreesboro are real as well.

(Where they found and busted the lab making "Mollys" and "Raveon")

Read below:

This was in the newspaper.

Bloody man tracked down

COOKEVILLE -- A man seen wandering along a city street covered in blood yesterday was tracked down by police and then hospitalized for serious drug-related conditions, police said.

The 38-year-old man allegedly later told police he had been running all night long because someone was chasing him and he also claimed his brother-in-law had put a "bath salts" drug and methamphetamine into his drink, according to a report by Cookeville Police Officer Michael Herrick.

It was around 7 a.m. Tuesday when passersby on Buffalo Valley Road began calling police and reporting seeing a man "with torn pants and covered in blood from head to toe" running in that area, the officer's report says. Officers went to the area and began searching for the man. Officer Herrick, with the bloodhound Cletus, tracked the man in a southeast direction to Holladay Road, then to Bill Smith Road, where a passerby told officers he had seen the man running south on Homer Carr Road.

As other officers combed the area, another passerby reported seeing a man running in the area of Ridgedale Drive, and shortly after that, Detective Sgt. Tim Terry spotted a man at the end of Oak Hill Drive, the report says.

The man kept running and jumped a fence, but officers caught up with him near a pallet factory. Allegedly, he told the officers he had been running all night long and that another man had been chasing him.

"He appeared to be hallucinating, pointing at cattle in a nearby pasture and saying it was (the man chasing him)," Herrick's report says.

An ambulance was called and the man was taken to the hospital. Further investigation was conducted and continues today.

He didn't "overdo" it, or "OD" on it, or even be irresponsible with it. Just had some in his drink, and this is what it caused.

You're incredibly ignorant to think that they are the same as cigarettes.

A Kentucky man accused of strangling his wife is poised to claim excessive caffeine from sodas, energy drinks and diet pills left him so mentally unstable he couldn't have knowingly killed her, his lawyer has notified a court.
Woody Will Smith, 33, is scheduled for trial starting Monday on a murder charge in the May 2009 death of Amanda Hornsby-Smith, 28.
Defense attorney Shannon Sexton filed notice with the Newport court of plans to argue his client ingested so much caffeine in the days leading up to the killing that it rendered him temporarily insane unable even to form the intent of committing a crime.
Sexton declined requests for comment on the defense strategy he indicated he would pursue in filings before the court.

thats why i made a comment about him calling out brian

So, you think that everyone who has ever done a scientific study on Mephedrone, or anyone who has ever had it "slipped" into their drink to end up hallucinating and running bloody through the night until the cops found him (in the OFFICIAL POLICE REPORT, not just reporter-written) are ALL lying to make this "bath tub drug" a victim of some conspiracy?

Grow up kid. And lay off the bath salts for a day or two. Jeez..

What the hell? Bath Salts aren't for consumption... Your a retard. Just go grab the dishwasher detergent under the sink and down that sh1t and off yourself.. 37 years old man!?!!! What the hell?! I cannot believe you compared it to cigs and alcohol! Hello?? Cigs and Alcohol are legal and regulated and the choice of the majority of the people.
Myself Personally If I had my way I'd make both of these ILLEGAL and anything else that's KNOWN to KILL.But yeah of course not gonna happen this is America the land where everyone doesn't give 2 shits or some logic thinking at all let alone a single ounce of common sense...
It's all about money they don't like competition either which in this case Marijuana would blow all these substances out of the water as there's various of strains you can experiment with to find the one that suits you the most.
Legalizing Marijuana would be the best move as it doesn't kill and there's more than enough data and research to PROVE THAT. No chemicals no toxic sh1t added in the process of preparing it for consumption by the masses... Just good ole natural chronic.... A damn miracle if you ask me..But of course not gonna happen in TN thanks to you stupid morons that make it harder to get high legally they look down on anyone who wants to get high and unwind responsibly ..
You're all going all over town and rushin in for meds to make a batch of some poor man's crack, putting kids and other people at risk with your stupid ass mobile labs and shit...
Why cannot they make something else all natural with the same effects that give you the high and rush that so many seek out for? I did meth once and it effing SUCKED.. I was shocked to see that so many are addicted to it?!!! WTF Really?!! WTF!!!! WTF!!!! Retards are the only ones that get hooked to that sh1t so your brother must be really retarded.
Get some top grade chronic... I don't mean your typical seedy reggies as these don't even get you high really..Maybe after a lb of them sure but if your wantin the REAL HIGH Get the REAL DEAL.. Chronic...Seedless, Stinky as a REAL SKUNK but very good once you hit it. Just a G or 2 per week should suit you very well unless you wanna go retarded and kill it all in a evening. But yeah the main issue is NOTHING IS NEVER GOOD ENOUGH For most of these stupid drug addicts they will consume so much to where their tolerance increases and needs even more intake to get the same high again and again, effing regulate yourself and toke responsibly!
Eff Meth and anything with toxic chemicals in it... Herbals FTW
If your actually looking to TRIP OUT get some LSD. It's much better than that bath salt sh1t. Did it once and damn was nice... But not gonna do it again as I know it's possible to end up on a bad trip sometimes and I didn't wanna push my luck... I'll stick with my herbals.

Us weeds are people too...It's plain ignorant to not consider that. Everyone in America is different but it's quite apparent and clearly that America is one of the top consuming countries for marijuana.(Go figure) Myself I don't like to drink a lot cause you get hangovers.. Why go thur that hassle if you can get ripped or chilled out off something with just a few mere hits and have no hangovers or any kind of negative after-effects. Nor have to waste money on countless cases of beer nor time to get the desired effects, Isn't America supposed to be the land of the free anyways? Why shouldn't one be able to chose which type of drug be it alcohol, chronic, pills, etc..
Of course that wouldn't be good to fully legalize all types of drugs as America would be pretty much doomed if that were to occur. America is packed with it's share of sheer stupidity in their population.
Some people just cannot be responsible that bath salt this is a no-brainer there's absolutely no reason for it's existence while there's more than enough substances out that can get you chilled out just fine. Last thing we need is something else added to our plate like a epidemic outbreak of bath-salt addicts running the place down with their ODs, Kids experimenting with it we got enuf of a issue with these fucking meth heads and other illict actual fatal drugs. It's the first thing to come out that's even worst than crack for Christ's stake.
We don't want to give / set a example that designer drugs are the way to go in America or there'll be another generation category we're adding to our future generation's plate of bullshit which they already have enough of to deal with.
Also need to end the bull$hit propaganda / war on chronic as it's clearly good for human consumption no point in lying to generations after generations to make it look bad as that'll just make the mistrust between the population and the government even worst as they learn the facts and know it's all about money and corruption that runs the show. As the years go by they will become more and more dependent on source of income from the wars on each drug for their own personal gains and workforces will increase and that'll just make the damage increase for them in the long run when our future generation looks down and back on us and wonders why the hell we didn't legalize this drug as it doesn't even need all these resources that are so invested in combating it.
They'd save so much if they'd kill off the drug CZAR's offices on a nationwide scale as they just spread bullshit and are primary just another bucket of cash for your dirty corrupt politicians.

A tad off topic but who cares this thread topic is effin' stupid anyways it needs to be deleted./
