I was wondering if judge Hudson is elected by the people, or how he is set as the judge in putnam co. and how long has he been the judge here. and is it true he owns the recycling center ?

Hudson is elected. He's been in office around 16 years. He does not own the recycling center.

Does he have anything to do with it besides sending everybody there.from my understanding he does have something to do with it.

The recycling center is owned by Putnam County. Hudson sends law violators there to perform community service because it is hard work and because there is always work to be done.

Your "understanding" probably comes from the rumors being passed among kids on probation who are having to do community service. Pay no attention to what they say and just do your community service. And quit smoking pot, drinking under age or whatever else it was you did that got you in trouble in the first place.

Why in the world would you think that Judge H have anything to do with the recycling center?
Putnam County built that place with taxpayer dollars years and years ago. Been running it every since.
Whoever you heard that from is either incredibly ignorant or was just jerkin your chain and is sittin at their computer laughing at you right now.

i agree there is no way the judge could own the recycling center that is the county put i do think it is unfair that you have no other option to do your community service any where else i got pulled over for driving on a suspended license got community service and they tried to make me sigh a form that said if i was in any way injured while doing my community service they were not respo ahhh... excuse me if im digging threw some peoples trash get poked by some junkies rig and get aids there not liable you have got to be kidding me and the way the employees there drive those fork lifts im amazed someone has not been killed already there are more good ways to help the community then sorting trash at the dump and taking a risk of ruining the rest of your life or possible death because you forgot to pay a ticket ill do the jail time before i would ever work one hour in that place

Most law breakers don't get to pick their punishment. To bad you think not having options is unfair. You should just be glad you aren't in jail and do anything they tell you and be grateful that community service is all you got. Do you think when the judge hands down sentencing that the criminal gets to say "Your honor, I respectfully decline your sentencing and I have another punishment I prefer". That is exactly what you are doing.

A few years ago, I knew this woman that got sentenced to community service out at the recycling center. She was sorting through some paper goods and found a book of checks, and all of someone's personal information. You guessed it, she got credit cards and used this person's checks all found from doing her community service sentence! These days most people use paper shredders, but that story never left my head.

I THINK JUDGE HUDSON DOES HAVE SOME OWNERSHIP IN THE RECYCLING CENTER! U KNOW THEY ARE OTHER PLACES TO DO YOUR COMMUNITY SERVICE! THE RECYCLING CENTER IS THE ONE THEY PUSH FOR THE MOST! ANIMAL SHELTER,HABITAT FOR HUMANITY,GENIUIS HOUSE AND THE RECYCLING CENTER ARE THE PLACES YOU CAN DO YOUR COMMUNITY SERVICES BUT ALOT OF PEOPLE WILL NOT TELL PEOPLE THIS!

He has nothing to do with the recycling center besides sending community service workers there. As a county employees it is part of his job to know where the county needs more help at. Recycling is an awesome thing, I volunteer to help out when I can. It helps the citizens of Putnam County. It is a lot better over there since they have weeded out and cracked down on the employees. I think they may be uner new management.

Judge Hudson sends people to the recycling center because it's smelly, nasty, hard work... its meant to make them think next time before they act like an idiot and wind up back in his court room. He sends juveniles there on Friday nights to make them miss out on all the fun their law abiding friends are having. Saying that he owns it makes you sound incredibly ignorant. Just stop and think before you speak or post next time... seriously.

You pitiful old burn out. Why were you driving on a suspended license, why did you lose it to begin with? Let me guess, dui. Probably repeat DUIs. You drunks and crackheads should be grateful that the judge doesn't throw you under the jail. You losers should do anything Hutson tells you, including sucking his @#$%.

I have hearad that when juveniles are ordered to do community service there a minimum wage is paid to the juvenile judges' department at the courthouse. I imagine that any adult sentenced to do service there would have a similar condition: monies are paid to the sentencing judge's dept. All it takes for a MINOR to "do time" there is to be caught with any smoking(tobacco) products........also.......I have heard that this sentencing of minors to the recycling center was recently challenged.(Successfully!)Kids who are not legally old enough to work for pay can't be ordered to work there. There are also laws that protect those not yet 18 from working aroung many types of heavy equipment, I'm not sure if the stuff in the center falls under that classification. So...Hudson is a juvenile judge...do you really think it's appropriate to suggest juveniles have to suck on his "@#$%" (whatever that is!)
