Why do you even bother to mention Cobain or Houston? Both curiously having met death as a result of drug use. Oh how silly of me, you are high aren't you? Forgive me.

Folks you will note I never told you to stop or start smoking pot. I am not involved in law enforcement and your stupidity has no direct impact on my life in any way. Issues such as the drain you put on society as a whole as a result of your foolish behavior are not settled on an individual basis. There is no need to attack me. I understand your defensive posture is due to your realization and fear of dealing with your own self destruction. Relax, take a toke and tune out. Those of us who can control ourselves give very little credence to your opinion anyway. It's all ok. I leave it law enforcement to deal with you when slip up and most of you will. As a rule, pot smokers are not the brightest bulbs in the box.

A) You're not a member of law enforcement.
B) You're drinking the "war of drugs" kool aid because the scientific community has proven time and time again that marijuana is not physically addictive, impossible to overdose on by all practical means, and has a plethora of legitimate medicinal uses. Why then, after all of this evidence, does marijuana continue to be viewed by the government as a schedule 1 substance, the same designation given to LSD, cocaine, and heroine? Hell, even meth has a lower classification because it's prescribed for narcolepsy and ADHD under the trade name Desoxyn.

LD50 of the substance please.

Oh, and call these people useless stoners:

Marijuana has not been shown to cause long-term cognitive impairment.

There you go. Studies.

Eat a dick you fascist, ignorant, big-pharma apologist.

Actually I am not, broski. I have no medical condition that could benefit from the substance so I do not have a reason to smoke. Try again. I also have a Bachelors in organic chemistry so your word is worth infinitely less than mine on this subject. So as I said...try again you ignorant, crap-spewing, Neo-Con idiot.

It was made illegal to protect the DuPont's Nylon industry and to protect Hearst's paper mills. You're a mongoloid.

Does anyone else just love how the maligned, ignorant, and ill-informed opinion of the troglodytic masses somehow is supposed to hold water against facts, logic, and reasoning? You provide nothing in the face of bone hard medical fact, and in no way, shape, size, form, nor fashion does your OPINION trump FACT.

Until you are on here talking crap at the MDs for addicting our nation to Benzos, Opiates, and TCAs, and condemn alcohol as well, you have no leg to stand on. You've lost. So keep telling yourself you are correct, anyone with a mind can see you are not.

Children your verbose use of poorly understood verbiage does little to lessen the fact and indeed serves to point out the foolishness and stupidity of drug use. To each his own, it is your life. Waste it as you will.

Lol. You are one pathetic person. Enjoy rotting in your own perfunctory and pissed off world.

For anyone observing, did you see him post any facts to back up his claims? Exactly. Propagandists will never post facts. Just ignorance and supposition.

GFY Goebbels. I sincerely hope you end up with a condition that would benefit from the substance. Nothing would make me happier than to know you will find no relief as you hit the pharmaceutical feeder bar, you ignorant rat.

Perhaps I should give you folks some credit. People as a rule are products of their culture and Sparta is rather peculiar in that nowhere I have ever traveled have I witnessed such widespread acceptance of drug abuse except perhaps the slums of most major cities. Perhaps that would explain the easy comparison between the economic condition of many Sparta residents and the residents of those slums. So if you know nothing better, perhaps I have been a bit rough on you especially if you are, as I suspect, poorly educated and incapable of critical thinking. ROFL your verbiage would tend to indicate that you are quite young and shall we say, not well adjusted to the adult world. Go ahead and "benefit" from recreational drug use all you dare. Understand there is a day of reckoning coming for you either legally, financially, or health wise or some combination of those. It is your choice. Good luck to you. You will need it.

I like how you point out the legal and financial threats of marijuana use, when those threats only exist because marijuana is illegal.

You know, if the federal government were to make aspirin illegal, I get the feeling that you'd be the first person lining up to reduce some willow bark so you could thumb your nose at the government. Your opposition to marijuana use seems entirely founded on the fact that other people might be having some fun during their lives instead of working themselves so hard that all they have the energy for is posting about how unhappy they are with where they live on Topix.

Marijuana kept my aunt from succumbing entirely to alzheimers. Thank God she lives in a state where it was legalized for medical use before her mind completely melted away.

In reading your reply, can I assume you would be in favor of eliminating public assistance for people who cannot maintain employment due to drug use? Legalization would not eliminate the issue of operating equipment, driving etc., while under the influence. Or would you prefer to reward those who want to sit at home smoke pot and talk to the pretty flowers? LOL

With the stipulation of eliminating public assistance to users I would even go along with legalization if we could segregate users in our schools from the kids with a future. It is entirely unfair to allow the kids who are bent on failure thru drug use from impacting the education of the kids who are trying to achieve.

Glad your aunt found some relief from her condition. Be aware that far more effective and legal therapies were/are available.
