Monitoring ckvl police ranking officers

Does anyone monitor the higher ranking officers at the police dept.? There has been a lot of people saying that they have been taking off work for some time now and not turning it in as sick or vacation days. This is allowing them to build lots of sick time hours by not turning it in. This is stealing time and equals out to a lot of money at tax payers expense. Who if anyone can check into this? Someone has to keep them honest! If they are in fact stealing something needs to be done. Times are hard enough on the taxpayers!

Ok which high ranking officers are you referring to? You talking about the Captains? The Majors?
The Majors report directly to the Chief. He knows whether they're there or not on a daily basis & I'm sure he's not gonna allow them to just skip with neither sick or vacation time used. It could cost him his job.

Nothing new here. It happens in all city departments. Coming in late. Excessive lunch hours.

This also happens in all kind of different private sector jobs all over the country.
It's not just a city of Cookeville problem.
