White Plains Golf Course is planning a Trunk or Treat on Sunday afternoon/evening. It is being sponsered by some bank I think.

Read the papers or read the signs on local churches. All the info you need is right in front of your face

"Monster"....that was kind of an ASS way to put it. "Sorry you missed it. Everybody had a great time." Smartass. I remember when Halloween festivities such as Trick or Treating was on HALLOW-Friggin-WEEN!! So I guess my little girl(3yrs) misses out on wearing hear Halloween costume she picked because we were at the hospital delivering her baby brother. Sad....

I did not have 1 kid trick or treat... In fact no one in our neighborhood knew it... Everyone said it was on Monday! I wanted it on Sunday... This town needs to get it together and have the radios tell everyone one! It's not about us...it's the kids! I could care less!!!

Just talked to Cookeville, PD and Putnam Co. Sheriff's Dept. and they both said Trick or Treating in Cookeville and surrounding areas is Tonight, Monday October 31st (On Halloween of all days...SHOCKER!) Churches doing the trunk or treat decided, I guess as their preference to do it Saturday and or Sunday. You're Welcome

I suspected that trick or treating would be tonight but no one is very clear as to what the times are.
Even the Baxter PD, City Hall and local businesses seem confused. HELP!

For as long as I can remember taking my girls out..( & it's been over 28 years)...trick or treating didn't have a set time...most parents took the kids out before it started getting dark for safety reasons. There was no set time when I was a child. And trick or treating is ALWAYS on the 31st except when it lands on a Sunday & the town decides to have it on Sat nite.

We had a pretty good turnout. Tried a new one this year and offered up BBQ ribs to the kids. No takers, they just wanted candy. Go figure.

Yeah go figure. A few years ago, back where we use to live, we gathered up a good bit of dog poo and let it dry the week before Halloween. On Halloween night we mixed it in with the candy. It was hilarious not a single kid picked up on it. Great.

That's why I never trick or treated and never let my kids do it-----theres just too many idiots out there that think hurting a kid is a fun thing to do.

Trick or treating is dying out and just in time too. People can not be trusted today, especially with your most precious possession----your kids.
