A few years ago the food was outstanding and prices were very good. Suddenly the food wasn't worth eating anymore and prices jumped. That started out as a wonderful place to eat.

I never could get good service. If you weren't a city employee or utility worker, you sat until the server quit flirting with them. I have since gone elsewhere.

Don't let a few people ruin it for everyone. I happen to really enjoy Maddie's place and think it is a great valued place to eat. So everybody should go at least give it a shot. Let's stop being so con formative and have a voice and opinion of your own. Make your own opinion.

FYI
The breakfast food is awesome and a really good bargain with large helpings.

We use to go when Ed & Shirley had it so we decided to try it after it opened as Maddies...it was about dinner time, the OPEN light was on & several cars were in the parking lot. We went to the door & a lady met us & said "sorry we're closed"...they were having a family thing which is fine but why have the OPEN sign on...we never went back.

Actually I have no vested interests in saying what I said I just happen to actually like the food and the service there.

I guess it was too hard for them to turn off the sign right? When we went there, one of the older women was on the bandwagon about some missionary work with a big poster on the wall. I didn't want to hear about it, just was hungry and wanted my food. I'm all for family, but separating it from business to serve customers is a good idea.
