If you disagree, do you have any INTELLIGENT basis for your disagreement? Surely by now there would be at least SOME valid arguments based on TRUTH and LOGIC, if they existed, that is! lol

Sorry to be confusing, or maybe offensive. What I was writing about is when someone posts something and then someone else comes along to "judge" it and hits the "spam" button. I don't understand what "spam" means, I guess. I was trying to find actual opinions of others, from time to time, and got kinda frustrated by the dismissive "spam" judgments! mk?

Let's not have this go to the back burner. If someone is in there cleaning up Cookeville we want them all gone.

I think you need to check ur reply before you post. But yes, the lady who got fired is back at work. I saw her a few days ago. She is having a little trouble getting her benefits reinstated. Unless the folks of Putnam county want another lawsuit, they better start calling Kim Blaylock and request she receive the benefits she earned..

Don't mind paying my fair share of the tax burden, but it's infuriating when certain well-heeled prominent property owners get by paying pennies on the dollar.
The taxation expense is part of the cost of doing business, and all costs are passed on to the rent charged to the tenants. When an apartment owner is undertaxed, he pockets the $$ as extra profit, at the expense of all other taxpayers.
It's just like when you shoplift a candy bar from Walmart, that is factored into their cost of doing business and is passed to all consumers who shop there.
Same principle. Shame on Ms. Chaffin for allowing this to happen. And I hope for her sake it was "allowed" and not "facilitated." But I wonder.

Guess it's no surprise that she opened a new business in a Gaw owned property. I think we should all pay her a visit. Just to let her know how mad we are that she ripped us off.

You are disgusting. You must be a landlord. This is why people start hating. You act like you have all the answers then use foul language to boot. Just remember this, you are outnumbered. No matter how many crooks and theives there are in local government, there are still more honest taxpayers that work, yes work for their money. We all pay taxes, and for these landlords to slither their way out of paying their fair share is wrong. Thank God for Phil Williams and his team working hard to expose these pigs. It is long overdue. Another sentence I thought was interesting was what the "State thinks", the State doesn't "think" the way R.C. "thinks." The State would use standards that are applied equally across the board. R.C. would think hhhhmmmm I better be nice to this guy, he owns a lot of property, or I better do this other one a favor or I might loose my job. She should of thought I better do the right thing or go to jail.
Out numbered ? Think again! Fair share? yes you will get your fair share .

This is just a "guess" but I have a feeling that these landlord/land-barons are operating on a level that is a good deal ABOVE the intelligence of Rhonda Chaffin. They had their own "agenda" and got their tax-breaks (!!!!!) and they also "had" their stooge(RC) in the middle to take the heat for their manipulations. I am sure they profited by using her greed, or desire for power, or whatever motivated her.....more than it cost them to work her. I don't know, but am curious to hear from anyone who does know, how the arm of the law could-if-it-would reach out and punish those who benefited from her under-assessments or over-depreciating of their properties. It galls me to no end when I think of the income that was supposed to be paid by the landlords for the kids that came into the school system. Those renters paid their rents and their taxes on the school system were SUPPOSED to be paid "forward" to the county through the real estate taxes of the landlords. People grumble about how so many with children are responsible, etc., etc. That is "manipulation of the masses" and gets the focus on groups of working people on other groups of working people. That has been a tool of the mega wealthy for generations.
Perhaps they are eligible for some sort of charge for bribing a county "official"? I am in unknown territory here, on how the law governs people in offices like tax-assessor, or whomever oversees those office-holders.

Here's the "game": RC undervalued or even omitted certain landowners property taxes. She not only did this once, but another time where she got her hand slapped and was told not to do it again. The rest of us homeowners got the lovely little present of having our taxes unfairly and incorrectly raised. This is the game that RC "played". The whole fruit reference, whether apples, oranges, or kiwis, is irrelevant.
