Dear "notfamily"... if you are "not family" how would you possibly know that there is no outrage coming from the family? You shouldn't assume anything. No one can put themselves in the family members shoes... there may be many dynamics at play that you are unaware of.

Dear "clinchic" (if you are who I believe you are) you say shame on "her cousin"... I say shame on you.. you can't protect him forever. Perhaps you should come forth and do the right thing.

Fare enough, maybe i'm assuming too much. Just have yet to see or hear any public outrage from ANY family member concerning the investigation or lack there of.I am assuming they are satisfied with it as her brother has complemented and defended lead detective Roland.

"justice for Stacey,
shame on all of us, her true family and friends for not protecting her from the person she was afraid of, her ex-husband.
i will continue to do the right thing by telling the truth about all i know to get justice for my friend stacey.
jim is innocent and the people that were closest to her at the time of her death know this. The only thing that jim is guilty of is being the ONLY person that was there for her, no matter what and like the rest of us, under estimating eddie. You, like many others, think you know what your talking about when very few do. Perhaps you should come forth and tell what you think you know and do the right thing.

Stacey told many (I would guess 25 people, maybe more)that "he is going to kill me" one of her most famous things to say after talking to him was "the venom" Less than a week before her murder I was talking to her about the kid's and asked her how it was going with you know who and she said very nonchalantly "oh he's going to kill me.I'm sure her friends have all come forward. This was well planned and now just another of the 120 unsolved murders in N.H.....I CAN tell you dective Gillbert promised me with a handshake that this case would be solved this year.(I have annoyed this NHSP crime unit and now this newly funded 'cold case unit' constantly for nearly three years)They hate me.And the feeling is mutual.

'Gillbert' of the cold case unit? The same Gillbert that put a California man in jail last June for the 30 yr. old Hina family murders in Keene? With inadmissable evidence from a now deceased witness that said at one time she started the fire. That guy? on a handshake? After this Cali dude get's done sueing N.H.well see.

to clnchic, Early on in the Burns courtship Eddie learned a deep dark secret about Stacey's childhood. This secret is how this mad man controlled Everyone. If these people weren't courageous enough to interviene while knowing about the brutal abuse then,he doesn't have much to worry about now.Fear combined with cowardice is how the cycle of abuse WILL continue. All my hope is in these decectives, and it is seriously waning.

i am hoping that you people on this forum watched 20/20 last friday night. it was about"topix" forums, such as this, where cowardly people hide behind a screen name can make accusations with no substance and say hateful and hurtful things. there are now lawsuits being filed for defamation of character against these people and i for one couldn't be happier. keep in mind that your ip number to your computer can be traced.

I watched it, I'm sure this forum is followed by investigators. In fact Detective Ebert asked me to stop pointing the finger at Ed.Did I do that? Did I expose his dirty little secrets. My favorite reply was from 'lovfreshair'Eddies sister. She explained how Nanna 'b' thought Ed was pointing a gun at her. That alone made it all worthwhile.Say anything you want about me.I love the first amendment, second one too.

Most sociopaths will appear very calm because first of all they believe they are smarter than everyone else. Second, they have no remorse so they don't get nervous about being questioned. Often they believe that the victim deserved it, therefore they believe they have done society a favor and hence no guilt. It is extremely upsetting that this murder has yet to be solved, almost 3 years later. When police say that nobody is in danger than I would take that to mean that the person who was the killer had a very clear motive for the killing. And many of you are right - womens murders are often slow to be solved, it seems that women take a back seat to the justice system. Something my daughter said got me to thinking - what if they did it together?
It is possible. Whatever happened the police need to keep working on this and get this solved. The family needs closure and Stacey needs justice.

The public is "not in danger". The family is. Remember Josh Powell. This case like that case is a no brainer.Does anyone think the detectives in the Susan Powell investigation feel any gulit or would in retrospect do anything any differently? I don't.Detectives,Attorney generals and Judges get paid, results or not. They are NEVER held accountable. NEVER. This attorney general has a self confidence issue. You really think he cares.
