This is a 2:57 p.m. update of a story originally posted at 7:02 this morning. By PAMELA METAXAS [e-mail] AGAWAM - Off-duty State Trooper Dennis M. Eugin, 40, was identified Friday afternoon as the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident in Feeding Hills.

I am deeply sorry for the death of Trooper Eugin..What happened to cause this accident? Was he coming from visiting a friend? The people that saw him that night must be devastated..It was so early in the morning..Why bother driving so late at night? He might have been very tired.

I can't even imagaine but I can feel pain for his wife and kids, ans the rest of his family.
I didn't know him but He served and protected us, It sounds like he was a great man. You know they say only the good die young. The man up stairs must of had a plan for him. I just hope his wife and children will be O.K. They will be on my "forever" prayer list..

Dennis was my cousin and a good man and like other Eugin's he had that need for adventure and risk, its just one of those things that runs through the family, and Dennis was no exception, if anything he followed it more than most of us in the family, he really knew how to live life adventurously, and if I hear about anyone slandering his name and I find out who they are they'll regret it.
