James street sounds like a creepy old man i hope he is sentenced to jail long enough that he dies in there.and he never does this again! As for the parents they sound like a bunch of losers who gives away their 12 yr old boy to a creepy middle age single gay man? this kid never had a chance the parents only care now because they know there is a lawsuit and this guy had some degree of success in life and probably had money , property or retirement funds saved that the parents will now be entitled to

Self defense, with a .357 Magnum ? What was the victim using? His hands ?
Justice? Score another one for a legal system more intent on it's score card and reducing the case load than it is in results.
Here's hoping Eddie Rodriguez doesn't really believe what Frank Riccio is selling.
Let's wait and see if the truth means anything anymore.

I was a personal friend of Big Jim and there was no way in the world, anyone who knew this man or had any history with him would ever speak one bad word about him. Jim Street was an outspoken man, that was without a doubt probably the best Father for Tony and Grandpa or (PA, PA) in which his grandchildren called him in the world. Jim adopted Tony and worked his entire life to make Tony, Michael, and the kids have the best possible life they could. He worked with our Company away from home for approximately 1 year shortly before this accident. Due to his health, I had the opportunity and pleasure to help Big Jim move in and Set up all his Video Technology system so he could communicate with his deaf Grandchildren more than once a day. I also had many opportunities to speak with Tony Simons about all the wonderful memories from his childhood with Big Jim raising him. Tony was having some problems with (Bad habits) while Jim was in out of town and Jim brought him to PA to get him out of that atmosphere and freed of the problems while his contract kept him employed in our town. I might add (Never once did he mention to me or even speak of having any other parents. What I do know was Big Jim spent a large amount of time with my children and me, having great times and always doing what he could to help us and others. So with my history I would not ever believe anything that anyone would have to say other than his daughter in law Michael and the Grand children. So if you’re judging this man in any way, I suggest you speak to someone that knows him like Michael and the children and not believe the accusations that you read about in the papers.

I knew Jim Street (aka Big Jim) for approximately 6 months. Over that period of time we shared many great times together, numerous laughs fishing trips, etc. He offered, and may I say, made good on his offer to pick up a new horse of mine with his truck that was over several hours away. He would do anything for anybody and I can tell you he especially loved those grandkids. To those of you who thinks he looks like a creepy old guy, "Don't judge a book by it's cover"! Maybe we'll never know the truth, but I had fond memories of the short time I knew him.

tony was a very close friend of mine...number one...jim wasnt a single guy when when he adopted tony. tony and his sister were taken from his biological family because, in tony's words, they abused them. i could go into detail with what they did to tony, but i wont embarass the family that way. they do that on their own. big jim loved all of them, and was very good to them. i do agree, that i dont think big jim needed a .357 to stop tony. tony was just a little guy. even if big jim was in a wheel chair, i think the situation should have been handled differently. for all of us that worked with tony, we miss him. you can always hear someone, somewhere repeat what he use to tell us all of the time......"Its all about love". i loved him dearly, as a friend and miss him every day.

let me tell ya all somthin. i was close friends of the family so close i use to go down once a year for the 4th of july party and it was such a wonderful time. jim street was a great guy with a great attitude on life. loved those children with all his heart. tony was a brillant person that had so much going for him. he even recorded an album in a little town called winthrop ma. he was succesfull as could be with it. he had hits in the south and sold over 5000 albums. as for tony he became severly addicted to crack cocaine and even took $1000 of my money and never paid me back. that was so unlike the real tony i had known. the crack took the real tony and killed him long before this incident. i believe jim street did what he had to do. jim would not have done that unless it was absoulutly necessary!! tony was out of control and an imminent threat to jim. its really to bad to know how this ended up when at one time they had a beatiful family with a beatiful and money was the last problem tony and jim ever had to worry about. drugs will get you if you let them.

I am Lorian... "Meggan" is what everybody used to name me. Tony was my father and Big Jim is my grandpa. How could anyone talk crap about him? I know in my heart, papa did what he had to... Daddy did really bad things with drugs and he actually abused us for years. I forgave my grandpa the moment that happened because I went through hell and I know what it was like. I have daddy's memorial page set up on facebook "Tony Lee Simons" you will be able to find him on there and if you wanted to talk to me, contact me on there. Papa is still alive, he has to stay in Jail for 10 years but right now he has fluid around his heart so please say prayers. Only if you all knew the truth... papa is one great man anyone could ever known, I am very proud to name him my grandfather even though he isn't my biologically grandfather. He struggled but learned some sign language so he could communicate with me and my siblings meanwhile daddy's biologically parents didn't. they always had excuses and such... Daddy told me they abused him and all that... by the way "child molestor" is NOT true. I grew up with him and daddy always left us alone with him because he knows papa wouldn't do anything... but with his biologically parents, daddy wouldn't leave us alone with them because he was terrified if they would do what they did to him.
