Jordyn, I too have been there.It is called Brick Chapel Cemetery. If you go to the above posts you will see our website where there are pictures of that visit. We took about 400 pictures between two very different days; Clear and sunny and cloudy and cool. None of the pictures turned up to show anything at all. We also did EVP work (Electronic voice phenomena) without any results. We then used what is called a paranormal puck.It is a device that tethers to a laptop or tablet in our case, and takes readings of all sorts.Temperature,electromagne tic readings, and the like.It then assigns the readings a value which in turn is assigned a letter or series of letters.In short, it is a tool to try to communicate with a spirit. This too turned up no results. This was all done in the cemetery this year. We have been out there on several occasions with absolutely no results, at all. I don`t discount your personal experiences but from our results we have to strongly advise that there is no paranormal activity out there at all.

my dad used to tell me a lot of stories but i was out there plenty of times and its so creepy because you can hear the screaming lady and i have seen red eye... its the best place to go... and one time after al capones house burnt down my brother took a stone from the foundation and later that night we felt something in the house and i seen a little girl in a blue mist that is still there because we still have that stone in our house

For those who say its all fake...you ave no idea what your talking about only because you havent experienced anything. I went out there for the first time Wed night with 4 other friends. My one friend has some knowledge of the area from when she was younger, so it was a refresher thing to her. We went at 12:30 AM. The first drive through nothing happened, then we turned around where the road kinda T's at the end. We stopped on the bridge and got out of the truck do look around, take pics, and EVP work. My one buddy and i were on the south end of the bridge messing around, and the other 3 members were on the north end...just feet away from us. My buddy is a smart-ass who is always the one to deny it and say "oh..ghost arent real..you are all F### crazy!! LOL" but he said he heard something behind my truck, so i used my cam for lighting, and saw 3 white figure objects behind my truck on the road when the cam flashed. 4 seconds later my other friend started screaming and cussing as he ran for the truck, we had no idea why, but we booked hell out of there asap! Turns out something grabbed his leggs from under him and pushed him chest first onto the ground. Mind you, this is a 19 yr old buff & tough mofo...aint afriad of noone! he started to cry in the truck as we drove off. About 3-5 miles (west) down the road we all started to calm down, and we saw a car comng our direction 1/4 mile ahead estimated. road curved a bit here and there and the car vanished like it was never there! I really wasnt paying attn..took it for granted like any other car. But my buddy who was driving (mr I dont believe in ghosts) was the first to say "...where did that fucking car go!?" We drove back and forth a few times, no break lights, no road dust...nothing!

Went out last week and we stopped near the bridge and I stayed in car. I looked to my right into the woods and i swear I saw what looked like a fisherman standing there looking at me, roughly 30 ft into the woods swamp area, then appeared he got closer. Yes it could have been a real person, but it creeped me out cause we looked with flash lights after i spoke up and didnt see him...we even asked if anyone was out there. that was it though

I might also mention we did not see any wildlife in that general area! Think about that! Any other road in any area near here has coons, cats, squeirrls, deer...anything and everything out crossing the roads at night. We did not see any living organism in that area...thats a bit odd imo

We went back out agian tonight. As soon as we reached the bridge area, there was a red pick-up sitting in a drive. He pretty much chased us all the way down the road riding our ass! I heard a story from a buddy about him being chased out of there years back, and his tires were even shot out...so that in my head I just kept going and we got the hell out of there. So are these backwoods roughneck or what?? They have no idea who they are fucking with. Give it time and I will be back up there with 2-3 vehicles with some of my buddies and we will see who the bad-ass's are! Yes im speaking out of anger right now...I probably wont ever go back after that, its not worth being shot at, but they have no idea who they are messing with

People cant just shoot at you for driving down a public road! Private property...yes, but not down a public road. Why would people be chasing you out of there in the first place? That leads me to beleive there is something there they dont want anyone to see or know about. The property is owned by a church now correct? So the CHURCH has affiliates running people off the road with guns?? LOLOL. Something doesnt sound right. Are you sure it wasnt just a couple drunks goofing off with you?

I have also heard stories about being chased out of that place by a couple trucks after dark. I think theres more than just the paranormal-purgatory up there. I bet there is some drug traffic or manufacturing or something like that, just a hunch.

Ok well some of my friends have been to purgatory and they say like it has kkk ppl liveing there and tht it is haunted and really scary yet I read some of these comments and ask did they go to a diff. Place cause they told me it was michgan and so yeah if anybody know let me know thank u

Last night; me friends and i, we went out to the house for fun, to see what was the big deal since i've never been there before.. Well i had to go pee really bad, so i went to go behind the tree with the tired swing and i heard this loud screatch in the metal barn thing. I ran over to my friends as they were about to go into the house. They have connections with the owner[s] of the house and property, we were able to go in.. When my friend chris opened the garage door, he said that the inside door was open and moving back and forth which freaked me out because there wasnt any wind and the house had no power.. Well they decided to leave.. and So when we were headed to go to the "haunted trails" i looked at the window, since theres a story about a little kid always inthe second floor window.. and i was looking and i saw this small whit figure in the window and it just vanished, while i was looking at it! About 10 seconds of going down the road, if that, we had to swerve because we thought that there was a little kid in the middle of the road.. our buddied that were traveling behind us said that they didnt see anything. We were back on our way to the trails and we got there and there was the "dungen" and so we went to it.. and i again didnt go in. and my friends did and they said they kept hearing whispers in there. They couldn't make out what were being said.. But thats what was up.

US12 to M-40, Go north to Millers Mill, East on Millers Mill until to come upon Purgetory Road (dirt). It's best to go at night for the real effect. There are no ghosts and it just a dark unpopulated 5,00 acres of forrest. I spent 35 years born and raised in Constantine. Purgatory was a great place to take dates and do acid.
